In this video Dan shows us how to pitch the ONE TIGRIS CONIFER T/C hot tent and then gives us a quick look around. This is a fantastic canvas hot tent with plenty of room, even with the stove installed and the A frame pole design is a great feature. Clips of it fully geared out inside can be seen in recent vids on the channel. Any questions please leave us a comment. Thankyou for watching.

Awesome! It's a great bit of kit. I've just forked out for another hot tent from Pomoly. I'll have to get another video out before it gets too warm!😅 Thanks for watching and hope you enjoyed it. 😉

Nice one mate. I have recently bought the Onetigris Northgaze. Im going to be trying it out for the first time at the end of this month at the Pyners Preppers meet at Church farm. Looking forward to it. Rob.

Cheers Butchy. It's a great tent and Dan chose well with this one. The canvas tents are becoming a fav of ours now.

I've never actually used any of my hot tents without the stove in, so it's always been open. They're all pretty well made, though, so there's no reason why they should let water in.

Id get one if l had more of a permanent set up location, but for me to bulky for my needs and a bit of a faf after hard days yomping , nice though

Yeah, you definitely don't want to be yomping with this tent. Predominantly, all our hot tenting is done via a canoe trip. Easier to lug about. There's some good light weight options about for hot tents, though. Thanks for watching 😊

I debated between the conifer and the gastropod opting for the latter. Then burnt 6 holes in its first use and wished I’d gotten the TC conifer.

How do you find the gastro pod? That looks like a huge tent. The conifer is perfect for one person and a fire. Plenty of room and most chimney stacks are high enough to prevent burns.

@@LakeDistrictOutdoors yeah I love the space of the gastropod, me and a mate with huge fishing chair and still room to spare, was my own fault not using a super long chimney ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@LakeDistrictOutdoors 5 ай бұрын
Ah righ I see. Yeah normally as a rule we use is to have the chimney stack approx 3 feet above the peak of the tent with a spark arrestor on top which should have come with the stove. Most stoves come with a 2 or 3 meter stack but you have to select which one. What stove have you got?

@@LakeDistrictOutdoors Pomoly traveller with 7 foot chimney (which was lower than the peak let alone 3 ft higher) newb mistake, need a chimney extension now 😬

Yeah that might be your issue then. If you buy the 3 meter roll up stack for that stove you should be good to go. That would put it approx 2 foot above the peak and should be enough really. 👍
