One tip FOR and AGAINST every faction! (Part 1)

SORRY FOR THE REUPLOAD, I HATE WORKING IN 9:16.
Here's a tip, some might say a STRATEGY, or GUIDE, perhaps, for every faction in Root: A woodland game of might and right by leder games!
...Does anyone even read the descriptions on shorts? Why is this even here?

How often is a single Cat warrior in a clearing far away from the keep a problem for anyone (except the Cats)?

Can use it to kill sympathy ( or like corvid plots if u really just need 1 extra point) ; makes rule ever so slightly more annoying, esp for factions with fewer people ; hostile vagabond will be very sad -- birds are probably fine/ even like it

Aside from screwing with rule and the warlord, it gives you the ability to interact with every clearing on the board. Lone defenders in the middle of nowhere aren't safe anymore, you can't leave any of your buildings undefended for any reason, and the cats can always find extra warriors if they do try to push outwards. The TLDR though is that having one warrior in a clearing makes everyone else's life slightly harder, while having no warriors makes their lives slightly easier.

How can you sabotage otters early? Because they can usually afford to go out of their way to mess someone up while I can't really do that most of the time

It's easiest as crows, who can bomb them during setup since otters don't get homeland status to protect them. Beyond that, it's the same as any other faction: Commit to at least one solid battle against them early on. Sure you sacrifice important tempo to do so, but having otters in your game means you can recoup some of that tempo by purchasing more cards.

@@Nevakanezah_ well I play crows and I have problems with them. They can afford to guess away my tokens. They usually have stacked worriors and if they have funds they can easily commit 2 or more battles to kill my 2 warriors and hidden token. Even if we don't by from them they can still get more actions that they can use to roam the woodland and take advantage of anything that's going on.

@@Nevakanezah_ not really as its kinda hard for me to get enough crows to place and defend a plot, let alone to attack the otters.
