It might have been an earlier version of anomaly but the "people must be controlled" option at the wish granter made every mutant that would spawn be a garunteed controller

YOU MADE ME REALIZE JUST NOW THATS WHAT HAPPEND TO MY MAIN SAVE LIKE 2 YEARS AGO I remember finishing the game choosing some random option at wish granter and then coming across 10 controllers on average on every map. Thought its a glitch, turns out its not lmao

another great tip for darkscape: avoid it entirely unless you wish to be driven insane by walking 10 minutes down the same road just to die and have to reload because by some coincidence a bloodsucker spawned and got the drop on you

You can drive the vehicles in Darkscape, just be careful with anomalies as the gravitational ones can yeet you into the stratosphere

@@juIiaaa. Yeah, make me wonder how that chase sequence would play out. At least I find it a decent map to find artifacts, but God forbid if a RF receiver package spawn there, last 2 times it turned my experience into Grand Theft Stalker!

5:22 You can open that door in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl if you find the right code. You find it by checking the bodies of local Monolith troopers. But you also have to remember to actually go through your found PDA info. 5:54 The main guy there will trade 40-mils for F1 hand grenades. 20 at a time. So you give him 20 F1s and he gives you 20 NATO-type 40-mils. Good deal if you ask me, especially if you like to put grenade launchers on every rifle that accepts them. 6:38 That's the C-Consciousness facility. 7:06 What would be more interesting is if it transformed you into a super-controller like Koshei from Oblivion Lost.

Warlab at Generators IS accessible, but you need to complete a "Mystery of the Zone" quest. It's disabled by default. To enable it you need to update file character_desc_marsh.xml, and uncomment line 69 (nice), dialog option "cit_doctor_main_dialog". This will allow you to talk to doctor in the swamps and he'll give a new quest, to visit every underground to collect documents

If someone is reluctant to edit the files, you can also give yourself the document and key via the debug menu to start the quest.

Another tip for yantar/dead city is that the secondary entrance on the lower left corner of the map does not require you to have the psy helmet to go through it, as it spawns you outside the compound and near the burner anomaly. This means if you're playing as the mercs or the ecologists, you can get into and out of Yantar much more easily than having to go all the way around and through Wild Territory, or through the compound once you get the psy helmet and risk getting jumped by burers, psydogs or snorks as soon as you spawn.

Another tip for great swamps is that mutants can't attack you if you're in the water (but you'll probably get irradiated this way)

I've seen a pair of ISG stalkers (an Exo and a SEVA) in the Outskirt's Hospital as Loner when I was running Last Dawn's Seize The Device quest. Managed to strike a bit of conversation with them. Too bad they both died to unknown causes when I was away.

The warlab can be accessed trough a mission. But to do that you have to debug menu kill doc and get the documents from his body

Many factions give "find lost group by RF recivere here". Thouse spawn a dead squad of, often, high tier dead stalkers with quest pda on one of them. This is the great way to find some specific guns and suits. And for some reason, in meadows it likes to spawn especialy big squads in factory compoud. Where all bodies can be found easier due to spawning on cocrete or asphalt, while in other places some are just lost in grass.

In the game code wishing for control changes the respawn system to spawn controllers instead of what ever the location was supposed to have. So there won't be an immediate effect but when you clear out a pack of dogs, when the area respawns it will be a controller. Same for those mercs you were farming. Similar to the game mode that only spawns zombies. Wishing for immortality should change your appearance and faction to that of a zombie stalker. You can't die but you are also a monster everyone attacks. Wishing for the zone to disappear is supposed to depopulate the zone leaving you alone in an empty world. Like wishing for wealth the game can't handle it with too many mods and instead it crashes. While the wealth one can still crash in base anomaly I have gotten the zone disappear one to work. The windows in rostok can be used to trade and do missions for the duty trader when in a disguise. In theory you can get enough personal goodwill as a freedomer/merc to be able to walk around openly this way. I would have shown the redforest teleport anomaly in the upper right as is pretty unique. The Jupiter Oasis puzzel is pretty cool. and the artifact is really nice, although if you wear it in a surge the negative psy resistance can kill you. (and i think efp/gamma make it weaker/remove it). It is the only CoP fixed spawn artifact left in anomaly. (it was so easy to get a starter set of artifacts in CoP) Not something you can show but darkscape was originally meant to be a car level, which is why it is so long and empty.

i know this was posted late, but ive managed to wish for riches, succumbed to radiation poisoning because it spawns all the artifacts and every kind of container with all possible artifacts, i got around 2 ton of weight. Also you get a lot of irremovable objects that are quest item which become dead weight.

@@sleekpeppar3608 unless it's been changed by a mod (or the game has started breaking from stress) any time you drop an item after making that wish it teleports it back into your inventory, you can drop nothing. You can see how this wish can easily crash the game if there are a lot of modded items, or no mods and a slower computer. hmmm, mod idea: change this wish to fill your inventory with bolts instead. as a callback to the OG ending cinematic.

Haha that would be fun, i actually never tried dropping things, i had the furniture mod so i just put stuff in a crate that spawn in the inventory.also i spawned quest item from call of pripyat. I think the blackbox mabye? Not sure

there is a bug. the code is supposed to not spawn quest items, animation and other technical items, but someone messed up the boolean algebra so instead of not spawning an item if it is any one of those categories the item needs to be in all of them to be blocked. meaning nothing gets blocked as there are no animation items that are also quest items because why would there be animation items are only ever given to npcs not the player. more reason to replace that code. @@sleekpeppar3608

6:08 in stalker lore burers can mimic voices, and that was a script in call of pripyat(probably they didn't cut it bc it's really the scariest part of the lab) in which after opening the door burer appears in front of you. And more of lore, burers speak in completely other made up language which only they can understand and some mutants like controllers too(actually by lore controllers are smarter than humans, and its not clarified why but they hate humans) And actually I didn't know that they don't spawn there in anomaly, so I always keeped away from there as I still remember when firstly played cop(2011?), it freaked me out, and after decade I watched stream and it again freaked me out. After that I never will go to that room!

Controllers hate humans because humans were the ones who created them through brutal experimentation, and it's a miserable existence which they are all too aware of. They were also humans before and may resent the fact that they lost their humanity, and so they take out their frustrations on any humans they find.

Darkscape has a Volos flak armor (Sin Medium armor ) spawn in the tunnel in the right corner of the map (the one near the helicopter, not the transition to Cordon) on top of some rocks.

iIrc the second option of the Wish Granter turns all mutant spawns into controller spawns, for all the maps in the game. or at least that's what it did on Call of Chernobyl and Anomaly

Wild territory i go there from garbage, it is easier to take down mercs on the construction site from behind, just go through the anomaly with fireball passing the pillars really close in order left, right, left and last right, up the ramp usually center and right - then just peak the corner and headshot the one merc, behind corner will be other on the entrance to the camp and always 2 on the top of the building which can be dealt with one from the stairs(can't shoot you - or you sneak and headshot it) and the other on the far from stairs has exposed leg while peaking Dark Walley i go to farm military equipment Jupiter - the ledge above the concrete bath anomaly is better to go from the other side as there is no invisible wall Sarcophagus rewards if i remember correctly were: disappear=makes you blind controlled=all creatures in zone changed to controllers riches=rain of golden coins those were actually bolts and nuts of the building and it crashed on you /got every single item from game to inventory and could not be dropped immortal=turned into zombie

Green bottles in warlab are the stasis chamber from where C-consciousness controled monolith and zone. But since strelok already killed them. There is nothing here realy. Altho in another mod Dead air, i belive there is quite exciting boss fight with "Zone entity"

This option let the game only spawn controllers, but the chance and the possible spots are veeeery few so you will find yourself in an empty world. Btw Sidorovich is not a controller 🤔

I think that there is no worse map than great swamps, nowhere to hide, radioactive water everywhere on top of that there is huge grass blocking vision while your enemies can see you perfectly just because they are AI, no reason to go there

Ah, the garbage trash dump exploit. Not an issue in the original games because they are so heavily irradiated you would die quicker from the rads than from the mutants. Just one of the many ways modern anomaly has been nerfed compared to what it used to be, and what the original games still are.

Darkscape in Anomaly sucks - by far the worst map (or only bad map), on the other hand Darkscape in Lost Alpha while still being too big is awesome and filled with incredible locations. But most maps in Lost Alpha are amazing even for high Stalker standards.
