Thanks for the great review on the Microflip. Just got another Houge knife, and it was this one, in a matte blue, which is really a nice change of color. Love the size for EDC, fits great in my pocket, the edge retention is great and not that bad sharpening. Great company and they take good care of there customers and there employees. I own 4 of there folders, just great quality and machining done on there knifes.

More knives shallow carry than deep carry and they do have some models with sharp edges but all and all a quality company with quality steel lock up and knives in general sorry u don’t like yours 😢

I just got this knife I really really like it. Perfect edc after I flattened the clip. I just put a piece of wood on top of it and hit it with a big hammer. Flattened out nicely. I bought a few Hogue automatics last year thinking that was the future. To me they're not near as fun as a flipper. I'm only buying flippers going forward. Really like the Kershaw flipper speedsafes, ZT, Spyderco and Benchmade but they make so much junk in China, I'm not excited about carrying those sellout brands. Hogue is the only US pocket knife brand that makes all their knives in the US at reasonable prices. They are extremely good quality with high-end materials. A+

my manix 2 cruwear and smooth g10 is my fav knife. I Put flytanium scales on it, bearing cage all ti screws,milled ti clip, and a glow in the dark blue backspacer to go with all the other hardware. it feels like a 300 dollar knife.

I usually buy Benchmade, Protech or Microtech when spending money on knives. Wanting a flipper and thinking about this one for my first? I'm not crazy about the anodizing so I think I'll sand/polish it off to a straight aluminum finish. Think it will look great.

Anodized aluminum finish will wear with use. Really wish they would have made a G-Mascus version. The wharncliff is easier to sharpen.

Looks like Hogue has an optional flat pocket clip for this knife for $15. So you now have the option for a "better" clip.

I've been looking at the Benchmade Aileron lately, and I think it's a newer knife because there isn't much about it. After buying the Real Steal Gerfalcon after GT review, I can longer justify paying such high prices knives from companies like Benchmade, Hogue.... Real Steal proves you can produce a great EDC at a great price. I’m tired of paying more for less. My last few Benchmade knives I’ve returned do to Quality issues.

I just purchased this knife and have to say I'm disappointed with it. The clip totally sucks and is very difficult to get out of your pocket and the flipper is not comfortable at all. After a few times your finger is extremely sore. I own several Hogue knives and LOVE everything about them so this was surprising to see.
