I just came across this video and I have made 2 so far. Instead of making 2 panels and stitching them together I made one panel twice as long and folded it in half and then stitched it together. This was a very easy tutorial to follow and I think I'm going to make some sets of them as little extra gifts for family and friends. Thank you for sharing this with us.

I made one of these for my mom and one of these for my son and they love them!! I made just one side and they said it was thick enough without needing two. Thank you!

Hi! This is the best scrubbie I’ve come across!! Very tough !! I prefer the shape also!! I liked one’s done in the round, but try don’t seem to hold up as long!! This one is a POWER NOUSE!! I have tons of ogton yarns n several scrubbie yarns also I’d planned in making gift sets out if the tons of towels I’d bought from dollar stores, dish cloths, pot holders, and dish towel holders. Makes a lovely gift set!! This will add to it nicely !! Thank you!!

Really like this. I normally only use the scrubby yarn or the cotton but joining both is pretty cool

Thanks for sharing this pattern. After I got my Scrubby yarn I was having a little trouble crocheting with it as I have only been crocheting for a few months. This helped me so much by pairing it with a regular cotton yarn, I would've never thought of that and together with the post stitches, makes using this yarn fun. Thanks again!

Love the pattern and the color choice ♥ But I think instead of making two and sewing them together that I will just keep going and double it and just fold it over and bind it together. Can't wait to try this out! Thank you! :)

Thank you for this pattern! I bought some Red Heart Scrubby Cotton on clearance this summer and decided to give it a try. After looking at a number of patterns, I chose yours because it really looks like a scrubby! I had cotton on hand in the right coordinating color so I whipped one up. It's great. Thanks again.

This scrubby is FANTASTIC! Truly the most heavy duty end product I've found on the internet! Brilliant idea to combine with the cotton. It really does a great job on dishes, and I made one just for counter tops...awesome! Thanks so much for sharing your designs with us and allowing us to sell them too! A new fan! :)

Very nice pattern. I think I will be happy to just have one side suffice. It is plenty thick on it’s own. I cast on 16 stitches to make it a bit bigger.

This is the cutest scrubby ever! I like texture changes so I knit the back side using just cotton yarn in DCs straight through. Came out super cute, I loved it so much, I made 4 back to back and now I'm going to get yarn to make some more 😆

Fun. Great job! With cotton yarn I noticed a smell after few days so if I may suggest when using cotton to rinse very well and put these on a slotted drain thingy or soap saver thingy. Your right tho scrubby yarn does dry quicker. The nylon yarn it doesn’t harbor smells or stay wet thanks for this pattern it worked a heck of a lot easier then the scrubby yarn alone.shake them out vigorously like a dog shaking his bite of meat back n forth ,if you ever saw that done it’s fast ☺️almost to pretty to use.makes me more conscience to scrape the fry pan pots etc out first with a plastic or spatula scraper so it doesn’t ruin my scrubby

Is there any reason you make it double? I just made a few that are single with the double strand sc.
@truckinwife0823086 жыл бұрын
As your 2nd yarn, are you using 100% cotton yarn or can you use just regular Red Heart worsted weight yarn?
