I’ve always liked Taylor Ward, so it’s great to see other people recognize how big of a trade this can be for the Phillies, considering his price tag will be less than someone like Robert.

I rather see the Cardinals go after Tyler Anderson from Anaheim. Another reliable starter to go in that mix will make wonders for any team. Also, with Anderson being a lefty, in a rotation of all right handers, will make sense.

Taylor Ward, Mark Canha & Lane Thomas are all three outfielders the Phillies are eyeing on. I would add Randy Arozarena from the Rays on this list as well.

Crochet is supposedly being partially shut down by the Sox. Why would they want to trade for a pitcher who would not be able to pitch for fear he's going to break down. They have enough pitchers who have broken down.

I am beginning to think that MLB is going to step in and tell Bob Nutting that he needs to do whatever he can to get Paul Skenes into the postseason. He was going to step in if Torey Lovullo wasn't going to announce Skenes as the AS game starter. That being said, I wouldn't be surprised to see the Pirates pick up Luis Robert Jr. and Brent Rooker. I also would not be shocked to see both of them less expensive than many believe. Yes, it would probably cost their top 2 prospects, but maybe not anyone else in the top 5. Yes, that is definitely a conspiracy.

I don’t see the Giants buying at this deadline. If they are buying I think they would look to buy another bullpen arm. I think the Giants will stick with Wisely and look to put in either Luciano or Schmitt at SS long term. I think it is most likely anything they may sell some of the extra position players: Flores, Conforto, or Estrada

I think it's more likely that Yandy Diaz gets traded from the Rays before Isaac Paredes. As for the in-division trade with the Res Sox, do they have enough high level prospects for the Rays to justify that move? I'm not so sure.

Hell no the Orioles should not trade Mayo for anybody. I would trade Jackson holiday before I traded Mayo for sure. Holiday has the upside of Gregg Jefferies which is a good ball player but not an impact superstar. Kobe Mayo has the upsidei of a Gary sheffield.. Mayo should be untouchable

As a Mariners fan I have a problem with the Jazz Chisholm pick (granted I'll have a problem with probably anything we do because this team needs a hell of a lot more than a single bat to fix their problems). I actually said earlier today that I really do not want us to sign someone on a single year contract, and Jazz is on arbitration. We need to be able to lock down a player and Jazz is worth more than our owners are going to be willing to pay. I'd love to see someone you think that would be a good pick-up that's on a multi-year deal so we can hold onto them for a year when our prospects are starting to come up.

I don't see the cardinals getting robert because I don't see them wanting siani out of centerfield defense matters more than you think and not every guy in your lineup has to be an impact bat you get get away with him in the 9 hole he's not been so awful that you can't have him in the lineup he can bunt well and has decent contact skills I think were looking for more of a DH that can play the outfield in a pinch I think Brent rooker is perfect

The Cardinals giving up prospects foe Robert is the most bill dewitt thing ever. All they had to so was offer up 500k more and matched the Sox offer and he was theirs. They also declined to make a 250k offer to sign tatis Jr at his father's request. Bill dewitt and his moron famiky are rivaling the reinadorks for worse owners in sports
