I love how they talk about the characters being flawed because I think that's one of the reasons I love this show. None of them were one-dimensional and the actors and actresses brought so much compassion. This especially true for Brooke ! I love the honesty in this podcast

They will never do it, because anything one tree hill would involve mark schwann in some capacity. I remember this coming up when the allegations against him came out, and all 3 ladies came out in support of the victims. That's why they do one tree hill related things (like the fan meetups, some cast members always go), they did some Christmas movies, they guest star in each other's projects, they talk about all things oth, but I honestly don't think they'd ever do a revival.

I seriously cant say enough good things about OTH. I’m currently rewatching all the seasons and watching the character growths, the acting, and the stories is really taking me back. I think part of what made the show so great is because it tackled an array of topics and things people actually go through. It didnt feel like your typical Hollywood show, it had that sense of authenticity to it that you don’t often find on TV today. *please* bring OTH back 🥺💓💕

This show got me through my teenage years being abused. It was the only thing that could make me feel happy for many years when I started watching it at 11 years old. I’m now 28 and I’ve seen the show over a hundred times. The first 4 seasons definitely over a hundred. Went downhill after season 4 for me personally because I was too young to relate to them as adults. The final season aired my senior year of high school which felt so good to wrap up my childhood like that.

11:15 I love Hilarie saying "Peyton saying to Lucas " lets just pause" after his proposal was the RIGHT thing to do". I love Lucas and peyton so much but I totally get why Peyton didnt say yes to proposal. It took a LONG time for her Lucas back but i LOVED seeing her so vulnerable and be so open about her feelings.

yea, that last season stands out to me as when One Tree Hill changed from the show it was to a bizarre soap show, with one trauma after the other, after the other... Russian mafia, it definitely got silly. it's also interesting to me to hear how much the walking out the shower scene sticks out to Hilarie, because as a 16 year old watching it, it stuck out to me too at the time. In a weird way - like why are kids acting like adults etc, am I immature because it's not my vibe. the over-sexualization stuff was a bit out of place. Like, when the backseat of the car scene came on, my mum goes 'bad show about bad morals, if you're bored the house needs a vacuum". LOL.

I absolutely loved OTH in highschool. Still one of the best shows. But i can't bring myself to rewatch it. I had so much trauma from my teens that was tied to the show. It would just make me feel like that broken highschool girl again. OTH def got me through it but can't rewatch it.

But I can’t unsee Brooke, Hailey, and Payton while watching this video🥲. I feel bad doing that. 😅 It’s no surprise that the fan base wants another One Tree Hill but having the main character kids attend high school. I would love to see Brooke in government, Payton still having her record label, and Hailey touring and having more fun. ❤️ Maybe we should have Hailey as Tree Hill’s principal. :3 What I would love to see is Brooke, Payton, Hailey, and 3 more females who are minorities (Black, Hispanic, Native American, etc.)in the forefront. I want to see female empowerment talking about tough topics and rising above society's view of females. I want us to talk about issues each minorityface when living in America, how they affect the next generation, and what we can do to make a change. If no one is talking about it, lets put it on the screen to force a conversation that would lead to change. I mean, the possibilities are endless. I believe TV shows have the power to make a difference. *Also, I identify with young Payton concerning her love for music ❤️ I can’t wait to see where everyone's career paths lead them, too ❤️❤️❤️.
