Thank you for this! Such a tedious final chapter if done normally, so it's nice to have a guide on getting a one turn clear, especially given how easy the requirements are. Honestly, the boss killer and the rally bots are the only units that require much effort on the player's part; Xander and Peri have shelter at base while Leo, Jacob, Felicia, and Flora can all reclass to an 8 move Staff user with no extra investment, although I'm not sure if Flora or servant 2 has the staff rank to use Entrap at base. As for a 7 move staff user, that's Elise at base. Getting the rallies can be easy enough, as well, given how strong Berserker is, encouraging folks to use it outside of the rally. Meanwhile, Shigure can get Rally Speed at base if recruited late enough. And, even if your boss killer is just shy of the kill threshold, they should be able to clear on the following Enemy Phase, assuming Takumi attacks them before any other enemies. They'll have a full guard gauge, but it might be tricky to finish the job since he has Draconic Hex, and there might be casualties.

Takumi will attack first on enemy phase if and only if he reads lethal damage against the boss killer. For example, Zoran's Velouria took 24 damage on player phase. After Draconic Hex, Takumi would deal 28 damage on enemy phase, while Velouria has 29 HP remaining. As a consequence, Takumi would choose not to attack and instead the other enemies would move first. This means that if your boss killer can't reach the threshold, you might need Takumi to activate Vengeance on player phase in order to take enough damage for him to attack first, especially if you don't have Life and Death for the +10 damage taken.

On an unrelated note, this map is great if only because I like watching multiple people try new ways to flex on Takumi every time.

So, just for fun, I decided I wanted to draw up a hypothetical build to kill Takumi with the Soldier’s Knife. This would make the game… significantly harder than it needs to be, obviously, and I will probably never do it, but it *would* be funny. Even with that absolutely absurd handicap, there are probably a respectable number of possible combinations (in fact, this isn’t even what came to kind first). This build is also designed to require the least irreplaceable investment possible, so no Corrin talent or Percy marriage. S Support Laslow and Mozu; Laslow passes down Quick Draw via partner seal, Mozu passes probably Aptitude so you can actually get the raw stats. Soleil spends a minimum five levels in the Villager tree for Spendthrift and LnD, four levels for Shurikenfaire, and one level plus A+ with Sophie for Elbow Room. Weapon rank bonuses are a non-factor because of weapon triangle disadvantage As a result, your damage looks like this +10 Life and Death +10 Spendthrift +5 Shurikenfaire +4 Quick Draw +3 Elbow Room Mozu!Soleil’s strength cap as a Mechanist before statues is 32 +4 Soldier’s Knife might +5 Magic boon Zerker Corrin A support backpack (Potentially) +2 Sisterhood +2 Supportive +4 Rally Strength +2 tonic -2 from S rank WTD equals a total of 79 or 81 physical attack, or two or four over the requirement. I ignored the speed benchmark, because it would be hilariously easy (this Soliel’s cap is 31, so Corrin’s pairup alone reaches the threshold), as well as hit rates, which might be a legitimate concern, although you should have enough raw accuracy after everything to make it happen. I honestly don’t know where I would even begin if Mozu wasn’t allowed to be involved somewhere; the +24 damage stack she supplies to this build is kind of important. I also made the numbers work with Kana as Mozu’s daughter, but that obviously involves Corrin by definition, and her generally poor stats means you likely need Trample from either Percy marriage or Corrin talent as well. But then, if you are leaving Percy and Corrin free, you may as well just build Super Ophelia and use her instead. Or, if you absolutely want to use some variation of this, be a normal person and use bows. All of a sudden, Mozu’s damage stack inheritance becomes the hilarious +29, you get a weapon with actual might, and you don’t worry about the -2 might -20 hit of S rank WTD, so it becomes fairly easy. Thus why this build is left as a fascinating hypothetical and nothing more. But hey, it *would* be funny. Heck, you could trade three strength from the cap just to say that you ORKOed Takumi on Lunatic with a Master Ninja…

I just don’t have the time to suffer on Conquest 27-endgame anymore so utilizing this strategy has made finishing it possible again for me. Thank you Zoran for the extremely clear and helpful video! I now find the long-term planning and execution of building a Takumi-killer to be a fun part of Conquest.

I only realized I should have a plan a handful of level before hard mode endgame, but thanks to this strategy (and use of some path/DLC resources to make up for some shortcomings...), I was able to work out a different strategy to clear Endgame T1! It wasn't a particularly reliable strategy, but I'm now feeling motivated to play Lunatic with a much better plan! Really appreciate the content!

Haha this would've been useful last week when I was trying to figure out a one turn clear with my units. I had the means of getting to Takumi but didn't know how to one round him. I totally forgot that Life and Death is available for Ophelia and ended up using DLC classes and getting Warp for her.

This is nice, though it wouldn't have helped my last Lunatic Conquest run where I forgot you very much want the rescue staffs in endgame. It's still beatable. It's just not fun. A map that makes even casual players want to 1-turn is probably a bad map. I find it to be an unwanted puzzle at the end of a game that didn't really have puzzle-based design.

Man, that ghost shader fix makes Takumi look a lot cooler here. The gradient fade to reveal the natural visage was so good, I had to know what did it. Probably won’t do any modding on my 3DS anytime soon (if not, ever), but at least I am here to appreciate this. Even better, your videos have inspired me in at least making a note to take on these higher difficulties in Fates and Three Houses someday. Thank you for all you’ve done, good sir. If I could suggest some future content, maybe a comprehensive guide on building any one Fire Emblem in a video format that does not take place in practice could be nice. I’m all for some helpful guides with some slick editing, but I’m sure that’s not a guarantee yet.

I feel like Wyvern Gunter that carries an A supported female Corrin with the Samurai talent and that marries Silas is the simplest way to get the necessary strength thresholds to kill Takumi. A female Corrin can also get an A support with Camilla for Wyvern access. A samurai talent does limit the builds for Corrin, but I do think it's the easiest overall. Great video as I've always needed pass to 1 turn and used freeze, silence, and entrap to 2 turn it. Edit: I just listened to the video and realized that you mentioned the +7 strength from Wyvern Gunter. I just find this easier than Ophelia as not only do you need Life and Death, but you need either Tomefaire or Trample as well. I think Ophelia would be easier if she just needed Life and Death plus all the rallies and pair ups.

Elise!Ophelia or Nyx!Ophelia can technically get it done without any skills outside her innate set if she has Boots, Sorc!Mom to give +7, and two +Mag statues. Female Corrin doesn’t need any particular talent because she gets Cavalier, Wyvern, and Archer from friendship, and that’s sufficient.

Very nice as usual! I really liked how you explained all the possibilities for Tacomeat killers. :) For my current playthrough (I'm taking way too much time haha), I'm planning on using Soleil. I was originally gonna do Ophelia, but I realized I kind of accidentally married Mozu to Lazlow. I recruited Soleil after Ch20 so she immediately gained Sol upon using the Offspring Seal, which is nice. I had Lazlow get Quick Draw in her paralogue because I thought she would get the skill at the end, but whoops, guess that only works for recruitable units after the paralogue is over...Anyway, with Mozu's inheritance, Soleil can learn both Spendthrift and Life and Death. And pairing her up with Corrin with at least C support gives her +4 in attack and defense which is really nice. And the occasional proc from Profiteer is nice, though that skill works way better on Midori for obvious reasons. Unless my calcs are wrong, I think Soleil easily shoots past the threshold (well, I suppose +20 damage does help in that regard). I can't wait to reach that moment. :D

Finally beat conquest last night after owning it since launch. Never would have picked it up again without your videos. I played on hard and camilla was 4 points of strength off after all the skills, rallies, tonics, and a wyvern lord silas s rank pair up no clue how you would make up those points. Maybe a statue? Luckily takumi has less health on hard. Still unsure if i ever want to try endgame without rescue tho, that sounds miserable

The timing of this video is actually pretty nice for me! I happen to have a CQ Lunatic file at endgame but I had lost motivation to beat it after a "legit" attempt was barely foiled. But I checked my team after watching this vid and by a stroke of luck I meet all the pre-reqs, with one potential exception. My bosskiller here would be Berserker Effie with 43 Str, S-rank Axes, Axefaire, Puissance and Luna. She'd probably be carried by Wyvern Lord Elise with A or A+ support. I don't have the full damage stack, but a rally and a tonic put Effie at 31 Skill, which gives me a roughly 66% chance of activating Luna at least once. Best I can do. That said, I want to know if a Luna proc is enough, and I'm not entirely sure how that skill interacts with Dragonskin. Help a guy out? Regardless, thanks for putting out all these high-quality videos! You are easily my favorite FE content creator at the moment.

I think that against the Fates version of Dragonskin, Luna will have a quarter of its usual effect... so that's +3 damage if it procs? If that’s not enough for Effie to kill with a single Luna, I can at least tell you that it's also possible to move everyone a little bit closer on turn 1 and then rescue both the boss killer and an Enfeeble user toward Takumi on turn 2.

I have not done a deathless iron man, and I haven’t done any iron man runs at all for a couple of years-I find it more fun to experiment with the mechanics and figure out how the AI works, and that's not something you do in Ironman settings. But I do know some Ironman tricks and I figure I might as well mention them.

The only one that I think would work as well would be a Percy marriage through marriage pair up bonuses. It would give her Trample to compensate for the lack of Siegbert. Velorias damage stack in the video isn't the hightest thing ever only giving +14 through skills so she could get 7 more through the wyvern tree. Or if you have mozu pass down spendstrip you would just get that to fix up any pair up differences. Im guessing a CharletexArthur would help but the +7 from the wyvern tree should be enough. Oh and Camilla zerker would be better. Friendship with Buruka is pretty free then you get trample, axe fair,+2 str but you might still need a skill from the cav line which sucks since it limits her marriage options. It leaves Silas and corrin but thank fully Silas gets a lot from Camila. Im not sure if camilla still gets the kill if only because she doesn't get wepond triangle advantage for the str bonus(I think?).

I don’t do LTCs, but generally I give myself infinite food and gems and a chef's hat, and maybe infinite dragon vein points depending on whether I want to have more fun in chapter 7 or not. Other than the mess hall, I don’t use any of the random castle events (items drops, stat surges, lottery shop, etc).

Idk when I'll actually do this, but when this build be sufficient as a Grim Yato Takumi Killer? Female, Samurai talent, +Str, -Res or Luck Quick Draw (Mozu A) Trample (Beruka/Camilla A) Elbow Room (Gunter S) Swordfaire Life and Death (probably gonna stay as Master of Arms) I think this might be overkill but I'm not sure. Edit: If the samurai skills are actually overkill, what's the best talent to give to Gunter? Dragon for Wyvern Lord? Fighter for Beserker? Also how'd you get each Rally on Laslow? The only ones I know how to get are Rally Strength on Beserker, Rally Skill on Bow Knight, and Rally Defense on Wyvern Lord. Would Rally Man already have Rally Strength on Hard difficulty? Edit 2: are there any good Rally bots besides Rally Man that you can capture? I know any Beserker can get Rally Strength (at level 5 I believe)

That’s definitely overkill. A +Str Corrin can get there pretty easily in Great Knight with just Quick Draw, Trample, Elbow Room, and Str +2 along with B support from Wyvern Lord Gunter. Laslow can get Rally Skill as a Bow Knight, Rally Strength as a Berserker through friendship with Keaton, and Rally Speed as a Falcon Knight by marrying Selena or Azura.

@@Zoran501 what do you want for a talent then, since Gunter can already go Wyvern Lord? A class Kana would want? I'm thinking Archer so you don't have to worry about getting an A with Mozu, and can spend that time on getting Effie a Mozu A+ instead. Plus, Kana could go into Archer too, so you can pass down Str+2 instead of Quick Draw since he'll get it himself, and Gunter can pass Elbow Room. Technically, Corrin could pass Trample instead of Str+2, but idk why you'd wait that long to get Kana.

I'm confused because I feel like I'm seeing tomefaire on Ophelia and I'm not sure how she's got it based on the marriages I'm seeing in the description. I thought that could only be achieved in conquest via female Corrin with Diviner as the secondary class? You mention that she can marry Percy to get Trample (functionally the same 5 points of damage against Takumi) but it trips me out when I re-watch that part. Am I misunderstanding things?

The only ways to get Tomefaire on Ophelia in Conquest are for her to inherit the skill from female Corrin or for her to marry male Corrin with Monk, Diviner, or Mage talent. My Corrin has the latter, and that's why Kana has Samurai access (getting it from her mom instead of Ophelia's Dark Mage, which Kana already got from Dad).

To elaborate I've already modded my game with the JP voices, tested it on my 3ds and it works. What I'm trying to figure out is to add the Unit Select voice mod to my game as the gamedata.bin.lz in the patch interferes with the other mod I'm running because it has the same file and I can't have both without one overwriting the other.

I think unit select voice includes some instructions about how to import a JSON file into Paragon to merge it with other mods that use GameData.bin.lz. If you’re not sure how to install or use Paragon, check the tutorials on GameBanana.

However it's not meshing with the icon mod even though I patched it with the JSON and installed the other files properly too, I've done the whole process over and over again and no luck
