do you know that you can set the "smoothness" in your animations to make them seem more fluid and not just fast as hell? in developer options if you set 1,5x animator duration scale it becomes much better

Coming from a OnePlus 9 to a Z flip 6 I noticed right away how smooth and fluid my OnePlus 9 was. Unfortunately OnePlus does not make a smart flip phone. I really like the form factor of the z flip 6 having it for a week now. Maybe Sammy will focus a bit on smoothness with Android 15.

I have used all three. I actually own both s24 ultra and 15 pro max. The android phones still have long way to go to match up the fluidity of IOS and its consistency over the time.

You should try the pixel on the Android 15 beta 3 the recently released beta is mind blowing. It's just as great as ios or OnePlus. The fluidity and animations are next level. The have worked on the stutter issues.

I am on the Samsung side, but I have to say that I do not like the animations at all, nor the notification panel, I feel that in the notification panel there could be many more animations, however, there is absolutely no animation when interacting with it brightness, the volume bar, turning on or off a switch on the bar, it's just very boring in my opinion, and it makes me envious seeing how Apple really puts effort into its animations :/

I used to have android that have 144hz but i switch to iPhone 15 that has 60hz, I unexpectedly fine to it theres only little difference only in scrolling even in touch response but the fluidity and smoothness i feel in iOS man, they really nailed in animation departement even they dont have back navigation,all those animation seems “oh,this make sense”and that affect to my user experience..now i scared if i gone deeper to  ecosystem

Samsung is something different tho it has fast animations wich doesn't feel smooth but not choppy or bad but it feels snappy and responsive and I like this the most but if we talk about smoothness oneplus takes it. Iphone doesn't because it has faster animations than oneplus and Samsung Is just doing something different lol
