I've used them all to varying success. It's less that I'm scared to use them. Hunter made good use of them funny enough. But it's more so that seemingly 80% of the time the Omens I find are either bad, or bad for the build. Kinda like Legendary items. You always find the ones you don't want.

Yes! Some Berserker action! I just love this skull. It has so much pure unstoppable damage, that it carried me through the whole game 4 times. I cleared normal mode with Berserker a week ago, then also cleared DM 0, 1 and 2 with this guy. Whenever I try to start a non-Berserker run, I always end up doing a Berserker run. He is just inevitable.

Dear Beelz, In my recent calculations regarding the maximum static damage reduction (not including unreliabke sources like electric field, wing armour, frost giant's skin). You will modt likely be able to get to a point where your "damage taken"stat is going to show 0.07 (the hard cap is 0.01) and in this state, Dark Hero's Rip and Tear grab will deal 9-13 damage, because I'm not sure if it des around 150 damage or 200 at base stats... On a different note, Berserker is one of the more special cases in skull whhen it comes to his basic attack. The hitboxes of the swings activate very early into the animation which you can cancel the animation with a dash or an ability usage and the damage of the hit will still be dealt to an enemy. It's not very useful from my experience but hey, it's there. For the first seing in the combo, thhe hitboxes activate as soon as he's done bringing his hand all the way back during the wind up. If you wver want to do another Balrog run, I would recommend considering Cretan Bull. I recently realised that Cretan Bull does good damage and you don't really have to think about it, you just use it sometimes for extra damage like bone of courage or mana eater. I think it could synergise really nicely Balrog and be either funny or strong or both, seeing hhow Balrog's dash is already very quick and deals a lot of damage Having said that, much love and tak care ♡

I like to have a little bit of attack speed on Berserker. Like one item, or somehow two Rapidity items that don't directly increase attack speed. That makes it so spamming basic attack while transformed is faster than walking. I don't go out of my way for it though, for Berserker I prioritize damage and crit chance because I like seeing big numbers become even bigger numbers.

Beelz, if you are interested, there IS a mod out there for the game which allows you to pick any Skull, Item and Quint at the altars right at the start of the run. I know it might not be with the spirit of the game, but personally i've been enjoying it with picking Reaper at the start and having a blast. Just an FYI if you get interested. For content!

You always have to ditch something for the other and like.. everytime at least someone is gonna disagree. Not even sure what my expectation is for this question... Reflection section: Prolly being open to be surprised and share some thoughts... I just do the best I can and realize that I'll never be able to please everyone. Like, it's actually impossible. The earlier people realize that the easier I think stuff is for them. As long as I'm enjoying myself and others are having fun, that's all I can do. I naturally enjoy making stupid decisions, whether they work out or not. Others seem to like it too lol. But if I dramatically displease someone with a decision I made (normally revolves around not playing optimally), there's really not much I can do about it but move on and try to shake things up once in a while.

I won my level 10 mode with Omen Idol cheese with Gargoyle and Kaboomer; i think i might have nerfed my overall potential damage because the omen affect has skill in the description and i boosted "go getter" thinking that would up the damage.

Chests and Piles can spawn anything matching their rarity and higher. So even a common chest or pile can give you legendary. It's just unlikely. However a Unique pile or chest can spawn uniques or legendarys. Think of it like reducing the loot table down to only a handful of choices. It will never roll below its rarity though.

A curiosity statement, but when would you be tempted to lock in bone? I never see it get brought up, so i'm curious if bone lock in would be equivalent to or better than mutant, and i'm wondering what your thoughts and views are. Sincerely, that guy stuck on HM5

Bone is ok as a support for Mutant, but there's too many effects that compliment Mutant more. You can buy the purple drug that reduces swap time, you can find the bone of time for faster swaps, demonomicon and of course Mutant itself is % based. All of these things together lead to more consistency. This means ideally what happens is you swap to 1 skul, quickly fire off both of their skills, then swap back right away. Bone is a more bursty style of swap that lets you tag out and back in right away. But if you haven't reduced the overall CD of swapping in general it takes longer to get the 5 stacks and longer to se the benefits. I'm also personally bad at using it as I typically double tap my swap button just out of habit. So sometimes I'll trigger bone and swap back and forth without intending to. In that sense it gives you a little less control as well.
