As a child I went usually camping for 2 weeks or so with my grandpa. Only we 2 my two brothers stayed at home... Fishing (we lived near the sea), campfire and stargazing were always amazing for me...

I live in a tiny country town. We have more fields and space than buildings or at least we used to when I was little. The perk of living in a tiny country town means a lot of space. So my backyard is about 2 acres big, or more I'm not sure. Anyways it's shared with the houses around it. So it's like this private park with these trees and playground. Ever since I was little I would always go on the swings. I love to swing. I don't know why I just do. And now when I feel stressed, angry, or sad. I take my headphones walk down my park and swing to the music. I know it's from my childhood. And I love it because it's just so simple but it brings me so much joy and peace.

Well now I'm enjoying my childhood memories, and I know that it wouldn't be the same after some decade, playing with our friends in the park, teasing each other, chasing each other, swinging together. When I was in kindergarten, when I was about 3 years old, I hit my eyebrow on the school stairs because a friend pushed me. The scar on my eyebrow has been there for 12 years. Even though this is a bad memory, it still carries traces of my childhood.🥰

I'm 20 years old and since June 2022 I'm working as biological-technical assistant in the cancer research. But over the years I learned that my inner child is always there, especially when I needed it the most😊. Yes, from time to time I'm missing the years when I was in school but on the other side I'm really thankful for all these years and memories. Oh and to answer your question, I loved spending the summers with my grandpa at this small little lake in Southwest Missouri. He owned a small resort and families would come from all over to stay at his place. Boating, fishing, cooking out by the water, he would do a bon fire on Friday nights for people to come out and roast marshmallows.
