Sir, please elaborate what is the purpose of Adjusted R Square. Pause your video on 16:01 where R square =.331and Adjusted R Square .308 ..please explain

RSquare and adjusted RSquare are metrics used to assess how well the independent variable (often referred to as the factor in ANOVA) explains the variability observed in the dependent variable (usually the outcome or response variable). In the case of the video, RSquare =0.331 means that approximately 33.1% of the variance in the dependent variable is explained by the independent variable (factor) considered in your one-way ANOVA. Secondly, Adjusted RSquare = 0.308 indicates the adjusted proportion of variance explained by the independent variable, which is slightly lower than the unadjusted RSquare due to the adjustment for the model's complexity and sample size.
