what i realised after watching this after so many times is that the machine and root have so many parallels. they represent each other in different aspects and times. what they gone through and reach is the same thing at the end. thats why i think root lives. in the end machine is alive so is root.

@@nialies True, they are truly on another level. I plan to rewatch too but maybe next year. This year has been stressful enough and I don't want to add that up haha. I still remember crying for Shaw in S4 and then for Root in the final season 😭. I had been following all the theories to how the show will end at that time when it was still airing, how Shaw and Root will meet and to believe in hope that what happened with Root was fake but then it ended just like that 😢. I had to resort to reading fanfics about them in order to have happy alternate endings for betterment of my mental health 😅.
