Hi Kristen I actually think I walked past you this summer on Pico. I was sailing around the Azores (was hiking on Flores and got insanely lucky to meet group of young Germans with a boat who let me join them and avoid air miles by sailing back to mainland Europe). We anchored in the harbour of São Roque for a week and one day as we got off the dingy to go into town I walked past someone sat against the wall who looked very much like you. I wasn’t certain at the time though and I was too shy to say hi (you also looked deep in thought and I didn’t want to disturb you) but I wish I had. I’ve followed you for years and it would have been nice just to chat with you. Anyway, not sure what the point of this comment was. I guess that it’s also been really lovely to see and hear you share your love for the Azores. They are really such magical, moody islands and the time I spent on them this summer will stay with me always. Lots of love 💙

As a Portuguese person, I laughed so hard at how annoyed you were by the music playing at the festivities. We call it "musica pimba" and it's a mandatory classic in every local festivities that mostly old people seem to enjoy. It's very annoying and the lyrics can sometimes be quite filthy 🙃

This video is literally healing. I'm actually working in a corp sustainability position for one of the biggest corps in the world right now - I actually want to bring your channel up - You probably wouldn't accept an offer from them because of who they are but I'll mention your name anyway. I mean corp world is corp world...don't want to get into it. But boy I would just love to escape to a world that is closer to nature and closer to who my heart really is, it's hard living in a place that's not really who you are and having to conceal your true self. Brings hope that there's a world out there that could bring this to my life. I've been following you for years. You actually inspired me to infiltrate the corps and to try to make a difference but it's really hard as you know. Glad you took a break, you've done so much good work over the years and have really changed people's lives.

Hi Kristen, I really enjoy your videos and appreciate your work on sustainability. I just wanted to point something out: are you sure those wind turbines are actually promoting sustainability and are beneficial for the island's natural habitat? you might be aware of the fact that in Greece (where I also live) this is not the case... you could maybe do some research on this, since you are planning to live there in the long term and you seem to care about the place a lot!
