🎉 Woot-woot!!! 🥳 One of my fav colorful palettes! Loved all the looks for diff reasons: 1) Such a vibrant, tropical look! 2) Love that u showed a neutral-ish look is possible w the olive shimmer. I usually use the olive shimmer by itself (my fav olive shimmer!) or use a few mattes from other palettes. 3) The purple look was very vibrant and I loved the light to med gradient. I like 90210 on it's own with the blue shimmer, which is really fun and space-y! 🌌 I've also done a matte gradient of 90210 from the inner half to Abbott Kinney on the outer half. Looks great w CP's navy liner. 4) Never thought of this cool toned combo! Reminds me of a honeydew melon shaved ice. ✨🍈 🍨 Or pastel cherry blossoms and leaves. 5) I did not realize how blue that blue shimmer could be on it's own! Also looks like it'd be a great dinner-by-the-beach look I actually have 2 of these palettes. I was trying to see if the pans were magnetic and broke the blue shade, which is one of my favs. I couldn't stand seeing a broken shade in a palette I love so I got another one. I keep the broken one at work and the other at home. 😅 For a deeper shades, the Trendy in Tokyo palette is a great companion palette to Lost in LA!! These 2 together are a great rainbow palette combo.

Hey Emily! Excellent video! Thank you so much. Hugs to Butterscotch 😻 I was lucky to have picked up Lost In Los Angeles at Winners (Canadian TJ Maxx) this spring. The Hills is hands-down my favorite shade in the palette followed by Sunset Blvd and Rush Hour. I also love The Abbey - the white matte - to brighten inner corners and brow bones. Such a gorgeous palette. I hope the BH formula doesn’t change with the Revolution acquisition. Hope you’re enjoying your summer and again thank you so much for the five gorgeous looks! 💘

Love this video! I have this palette and this inspires me to bring it out and use it for summer! I got my palette at TJ maxx and I've seen it just today at Marshalls as well, along with Blueberry Muffin, Mimosa, Passion in Paris, Trendy inTokyo, Switzerland, Hanging in Hawaii, and the Party in Puerto Rico! Check them out and they are like $ 7.99 and the formula is so good. I actually like this palette more than the Natasha denona Pastel palette!

If you like Nuetral shades the Smitten in Switzerland, Hangin in Hawaii and Party in Puerto Rico would be my suggestions. Oh my goodness, I loved every look! So much spring pastel inspiration! You did such a great job and used almost every color! I meant to use this palette all spring, and always just getting a bit overwhelmed and going somewhere else, so I’m super excited to get some good ideas! That first look was just warm, sunny perfection for spring or summer! The second look was really interesting, but I too wish the gold had been lighter in the inner portion. Still looked really cool, maybe even had slightly fall vibes. The purple/pink look was just spring perfection, definite cotton candy! Absolutely stunning! The minty look was super interesting. I never would have thought to go for the pink shimmer, but once you did, it looked so cool! I was thinking the lighter blue shimmer, but I did like the pastel watermelon look. If you’d used the deeper coral pink shimmer from the first look, it would have given full summer watermelon, or maybe even a halo eye with the two pinks would have been really cool! Might have to try that! The final look turned out beautiful! I was dying for you to use that blue matte, but by the time you finished it, I loved it so much! Super wearable blue, and the warm/ cool contrast was gorgeous! It had level of sophistication to it. This was such a great video, and you did a fabulous job! I’m definitely excited to pull my palette out and do some looks with it! 😁❤️

Oh also…BH Cosmetics is coming back! They did a sneak peak on TikTok, and they’re continuing their travel series with six eyeshadow quads, three face quads, and a brush set! The eyeshadow quads are Miami, Maui, Mykonos, Egypt, Las Vegas, and Iceland, and the face quads are Cabo, Cuba, and Tahiti! SUPER excited to see those! They’ve said it’s going to be the same formula, but we’ll see. And there was no time frame on when. 😁😁😁

@@ac2055 You’re welcome! I was one of the first to see the TikTok. I took screenshots and zoomed in and studied them closely to get the names and what they were and then commented them. This was a few weeks ago. I figured out all of them except the Cabo face palette, which someone else figured out. It’s slowly getting picked up by more and more influencers. I’m excited for them!

Every time I wear blue eyeshadow to work, I worry it’s too much or something (I feel it’s probably what your feeling lol)- yet I find it oddly humorous that I will wear purple and greens without thinking twice… I have come to conclude its because of the impression Mimi from Drew Carey left 😂

I have this palette and enjoy using it. I do find the gold and olive green shimmer shades to be odd. They don’t seem to go with the rest of the shades. I like monochromatic pastel looks so would have preferred light yellow and green shimmers.

I think the gold is ok with the other warm shades, but the olive is def odd. I'm sure it goes really well in some combination, maybe in a funky fun kinda way, but I also haven't figured out how to use it. However, I love using the olive shimmer on it's own. It's my most used olive shimmer with my olive looks. It's not too bright or dark, has the opaqueness I like, and has a nice satin shimmer texture that's not too dull or in-your-face.

Am I understanding this correctly? Are you using eyelid primer only where the glitter shades will go? How do the other colors hold up without primer? And, are you using primer on the rest of your face? Your foundation and blush look flawless, and I'm wondering if you can get that look without primer. Love the presentation!

I use eye primer before I put any shadows down! Usually the NARS Tinted Smudge Proof eyeshadow base and then wherever I apply the shimmers I use the NYX glitter primer! And thank you 😊
