Once you get a Ventrac you will never go back to a traditional tractor!

I just bought me a ventrac 4500z and have put maybe 10hrs on it and have cleaned up a large amount of overgrowth on my girlfriend's 400acre farm in TN that has been neglected for years. It's crazy how much I got done in 10 hrs and used about 10 or 12 gallons of gas. Still have lots more to clear up. It gets addictive making your property look better. I have opened up wooded areas and steep hills and muddy steep slopes around ponds and creeks that would have taken for ever with back breaking work if not for the ventrac 4500z. I couldn't afford a new one so bought a used one through the local dealer here in middle TN and they have been great to work with.

Is the engine different for the Australian market?

Simon, we operate 2 Ventracs both with Kawasaki motors. Ours operate on 30 degrees slopes continually. Just depends on how adventurous you are.

How does it handle rocks?
@tonynewsomjr.40435 жыл бұрын
I have accidentally ran over cantaloupe size rocks and it busted them in half and kept on going. For 10hrs I have ran over small tree saplings thorn bushes and the occasional big rog and blades are still sharp with a fee very small dings in them. The blades seem to be harder than the big blades on my 9.5ft johndeere brush hog on my big tractor. But unlike the blades on a big brush hog where the blades can flop to the side when they hit something hard, the ventrac blades are fixed in place like a lawn mower blade. I am curious to see how a ventrac would perform if it had the flop blades like a large brush hog has.

My wife wants to know if you work. At anything except riding the Ventrac that is.

Why would anyone in their right mind mow all that. Plant some native grasses and let it grow what a waste of fuel
@mi2tn7 жыл бұрын
Because it's fun. If you would have watched the whole video you would've seen that she is planting grass and letting it grow to the size she wants. It's a waste to not making it as beautiful as you the owner want it.

Well said Erik. Just a waste of beautiful country. Run some stock. Grow some grass so you can cut & bale it and send it out to farmer who need it to feed their stock. That's the trouble with city people- they come out into the country and just waste the good land .....

@@junglejobs9590 that’s the trouble with country folk…..they think they know everything!
