If he had said “Prabhas’s comedy didn’t work for me.” It would have been fine. The choice of word took it to this level and he himself is to be blamed for everything came later. Me saying “Nona’s review of Kalki was nonsense” and me saying “I didn’t like Nona’s review of Kalki” is two different things. “Insult” and “criticism”

i am hung up on the word 'joker'. i think the guy said that Prabhas character was like a joker but did not call Prabhas a joker himself. again, what i am confused about is why using the word joker is an insult. is saying he was like a joker like saying he was an a**hole or something? that is why i think i am not understanding a cultural thing here.

You tried hard to defend Arshad Warsi here, but here is Arshad's opinion about South Indian movies (and film-makers) in an older interview - Arshad answers, “I think mere ghar mein jitne log kaam karte hain, vo sab dubbed south films dekhte hain, sab ke sab. It is highly entertaining. Rajinikanth jo itne bade star hain; kuch reason to hoga hi. Zyada sochne ki zaroorat nahi hain, zyada dimaag crack karne ki zaroorat nahi hain. Aap dekh lo gadiyaan ud rahi hain, log udd rahe hain. Sab popcorn khao, picture dekho, ghar chale jao. (Everyone who works at my house watches dubbed south films. There must be a reason why Rajinikanth is such a big star. They don’t require much thinking. You see vehicles and people are flying everywhere. Eat popcorn, watch the film, and go home.)”

i feel like i am getting a deep dive into some Indian culture here. i am unsure why calling a movie character a 'joker' when the movie character was very clearly comedic on purpose. the character was a bit too comedic but so what. it is the reason i referred to Prabas' character as 'Indian Han Solo' who was nothing but jokes in the first star wars movie. i guess i don't get it. love the shirt/turban combo today.

To give a chance he need to clarify himself like nani . Did he do it ?.issue is nani got scrutinized by entire hindi media no one asked arshad y he said so .having gray don't mean ur wise ur just old thats it . Being veteran doesn't mean speeking shit maintaining dignity makes u one . Every time prabhas is getting blame and even if he leavss we don't because irrespective of fan bases we all love him for what he was .think of laying finger u will lose hand 😂. This time celebs were also rexed too .

If You want to enjoy comedy, You got to see in the original language. The halls were bursting in laughter in the south languages. Prabhas is also known for his unique comic timing . I enjoyed first part more than second It’s near impossible to get comic timing in dubbing and the dialogue conversion to Hindi was bad. I saw in Hindi too, halls were silent in first half

y are you milking this topic so much. and y trying so much to defend Arshad so much. Y cant u see the other side of the argument as well. This topic was over a week ago when the director commented. Everyone felt the word joker was unnecessary. Would srk or amitabh fans be okay if Arshad said Srk was like a joker in dunki or ambitabh was like a joker in thugs of hindostan or some other movie or would he even dare to say that. Arshad couldve said, Prabhas character was too comedic and it didnt land, wouldve been fine. No the word Joker had to be used. Anyways.

Prabhas doesn't stand as high as AB or SRK. They have been here for over 40 years, and successfully. They are the highest paid, and with a lot of fans.

Nona Prince, i feel the same way about Prabhas' character being overly comedic and laxed. His character could have been more robust albeit naturally humorous but NOT SILLY. I agree with your understanding of Arshad's comment. The movie was incredible other than this.

90% of people (grounded level cinema going) don't even know this issue. People like you KZbinrs, Social media bots, Jobless Reddit users care about this issue( these don't even watch movies). It's all for entertainment, it's better you think about your work ( if you have any) coz it's not going to stop anyone from watching their movies in future. It's better for you to come out of the mob mentality and be honest to yourself ( fed up with your videos)
