Sarah I feel you on this crappy 2024… our home burnt down this year in march which left myself, my husband, 4 boys and 3 pups with literally nothing but what we had on that day… a month and a half later one of our pups died and we found out a month later he got our female pup pregnant and left us with 10 mini hims… thank god none of us were home and someone brave got our pups out. Unfortunately my parents and siblings were the ones who were on scene when it happened and watched it all and my dad had to call us and tell us. Thankfully we all live on the same block but we’re all working thru that trauma together. And we live in such a small community that we had a roof over our heads within 3 days and the community really came together and helped in so many different ways. So grateful for my family and community. We are still not in our home and probably wont be until the new year… but I’m so over this year and everything that happened…

I do that Sarah too. I think of all of the small things medium and big things. My mind is over load. So things that I can’t change I’m trying to get rid of that. Be more grateful for all the blessing I have and trying to enjoy each day. I have so much to be thankful for. I never could keep the house perfect like I did before kids. I tried but I worked full time with three beautiful kids and I had a husband like your husband that helped out a lot. But you get so overwhelmed. Baby sitters ball game sleep over. But my kitchen had to be clean. If nothing else my kitchen. Love you girls and you both are such beautiful young ladies. Oh my goodness! When you said what your kids wouldn’t do that you did I had a visceral memory of one of my ex’s friends being high and drunk and driving nearly 100 miles per hr on a country road. We were in the backseat I had been drinking a little bit. I was super sober screaming for him to 🛑 inside my mind. I was sure I was going to die. Now, my next door neighbor is his mother and she thinks he never had any drugs besides beer and I want to scream it out when I think about it that he could’ve killed us all. 🙀
