I started making a game in core about 3 months ago, and most of the things I have learned have been from the video you and Mucusinator have made. I am also using several team META community content and learned from that while understanding how it works. It is very inspiring to hear about your story with Mucusinator. I bet you guys had a lot of fun making your games. I can't wait to get mine to a published state. Thanks for all the content you make.

Hey @Cristo great to hear the videos are helpful. It's definitely been an extremely fun year and I'm super excited about where Core is headed. When you publish your game be sure to let me know!

Gratz on the 1 year, GT! Is there any chance you could make a tutorial on how you setup your Visual Studio Code for Core? Stuff like intellisense and the Linter to remove undefined globals.
@ijustmakegamesnow9063 жыл бұрын
Man, you're amazing! Watching this video, I count that you made at LEAST NINE different games IN ONE YEAR! I want to be like that. I'm currently making my first game, it's also a shooter-rpg-scifi game, but that's all I'll say for now. I just want to make one or two levels before I release it as a beta. But I want to be like you. I'm learning Lua, I'm doing a backend dev bootcamp later this month, but as a dayjob thing. I think making games is what I actually want to do. I think I want to do it here on Core. You're my hero!

woah, congrats on your accomplishments! i hope I get to do what you and mucusinator do, coding is my worst enemy

Thank you! Yeah when first getting started coding can be tough. Honestly stick with it and you'll pickup more knowledge along the way, before you know it you're able to code.

I trust your word, hope I can rival your standards when I learn to code hahaha!
@GamerTitanYT3 жыл бұрын
Ha, just start with trying to do one very specific thing and then expand from that. Definitely do the tutorials that Core has on their API page, those helped a lot early on.

can we get a tutorial on that flying vehicle test?

Ha while it looked good for that shot, it doesn't function to well. I coded it as my original Bootcamp submission. I'll see if I can dig it up.

A year already huh? Feels like not so long ago we were spamming NPC's on "TURRETZZZZ" and taking pot-shots as they funnelled into the room. It's crazy to see how much further you've developed since those days, and I'm glad to hear I had as much of an impact in your game dev journey as you have had on mine. You've been an absolute lad and great friend to make games with. One year in, and just getting started... ...can't wait to see where it goes! *Also can't wait to see the editing for the 2 year recap video

How do you make a lobby map, and then as soon as the game starts you go to your actual game (Make a tutorial)
@GamerTitanYT3 жыл бұрын
You can make the lobby the main game, then when you publish your "main game" you can make it a child of the lobby game, and use the game transfer to send the player to the main game.
