it truly makes you see many things differently. i was this girl w blonde hair and blue eyes and that’s all everyone saw. all my exes said if you dye your hair or cut it short , i’m not dating you. so i said f*** that. i started by dying it brown and got obsessed with dying my hair. every color of the rainbow and 20+ bleach sessions later, along with many different short lengths.. i decided to shave it, a lot of guys were repulsed and said they wouldn’t date me or anything just because of it, so it not only made me find realer friends and guys, but i also got more confidence.

I had a very long and thick hair (just like on my profile pic ) and I really hate it especially during summer lol. I decided to shave, bleach and colour my hair blue (which I regret for many reasons). It was liberating af but at the same time I really started to miss my long hair. But I got to wear badass clothes and big artsy earrings and I have to tell you it really did complement my hairstyle. I live in a relatively conservative country so I got looks a lot but you can get used to it. Now I'm in my awkward grow out phase and I hate it tbh bc my hair is living it's own life lol.

That's crazy. I used to have short hair as a kid, had it for about 8 years against my wishes. My hair grows three to four times that fast, but it's crazy to watch the hair growth stages on others. When I started working at our state corrections facility a few years ago, I had cut it to shoulder length after having let it reach my butt. A year and a half later, even after cutting another 6 to 7 inches from it, it was already just an inch or two shy of reaching my butt again, lol. I can't stand my hair being too long sometimes. Chokes me in my sleep. Not fun. And it takes like, 3 to 5 scrunchies wrapped 3x around it to barely manage to hold it up and still weighs so much it tries to pull down from it. I miss the long hair, but I also don't. Cool vid! Thanks for the share!!!
