About a year ago I made a video about how much I love foundry VTT. Do I still think it is great? Yes I do.

I picked up Foundry for my Savage Worlds One-Shots (may eventually be a campaign), and honestly, I love it. I was able to set up most of the gameplay stuff, with lots of fun dynamic lighting tricks and stuff really quickly, and a lot of (but sadly not all) the post-dice-roll-math is automated, which is a godsend.

The main upside of FoundryVTT is the good NodeJS foundation. Compared to others it offers developers a pretty easy start to get stuff done. Over time you will likely see more cool modules that focus on more niches. I especially like the automation (rolltables, monks tile triggers, ...)

For me as DM sometimes I don't like the forge, WASD and sometimes my modules don't work as they should

Check out the Argon HUD module. It’s new, and it adds a wonderful HUD at the bottom of the screen.

I tried it but I feel its still a bit laggy and clunky ? Or is it just me ? Cheers !

Any plans to do videso on the modules you find useful/indispensable aside from the DnDBeyond Importer?

Hey I am new to foundry vtt and forge. Could you go more in depth in how you are running your two games? One option was characters manage everything in DnD beyond and the other was just creation of characters and leveling is done in dnd beyond. I would love to see this second option as this is the one I am aiming for. But I am having a hard time figuring out how to do this. Thanks for the content!

Holy shit. Did I just get the answer within moments of starting? Is this a trap? Is this too good to be true?

Love the character sheet layout shown in the first half of your video! Is this using a specific module to have them display like that?
@polyhedron33863 жыл бұрын
I use a module called Tidy5esheets for that
