@thebrianchannel9890 If you read his description, you'll see he decided to start learning how to juggle in 2017. This video was posted in 2018. That's a year of juggling. I'm a juggler myself and I've been a juggler for about 14 years now. He's been a juggler for 6, almost 7 years. I have twice the experience he has with juggling. I can juggle balls, rings, clubs and I can even juggle fire (fire juggling video on my channel if you want proof). As someone with tons of juggling experience and a self taught juggler at that, you can tell when someone's been putting in the effort and practice to get better at juggling and you can appreciate a good juggler when you see one because you know how much practice it takes to be a good juggler. This video is in no way discouraging to watch. This guy did an amazing job. He can do some tricks I can't even do. He's in no way a bad juggler. He's a great juggler. Get out of here with your negativity.

I would really recommend it. It's fun, weirdly relaxing, activates different parts of your brain and is so satisfying when you learn a trick. Just start simple with 2 balls make sure throws are uniform. Then get the 3 ball cascade down. Stand in front of a wall to begin with (to stop throwing forward) and remember throwing higher gives you more time. Good luck!

Definitely one of the more challenging tricks for me too! The tip that worked for me is to wait a little bit longer before throwing the bottom ball.
@o-k92674 жыл бұрын
What helped me the most was simply practicing the trick with only 2 balls, even if I knew the trick already. Because early box always looks terrible, your throwing/catching hand will tend to rise up too much and your hands will be close together. 2 balls allow you to have more time and less stress perfecting these throws in each hand. Also take a shower.

If you really put in the time and practice purposefully, you’ll see results no matter what. If you really add up the hours you’ve spent practicing, you’ll realize it’s not that much. You just gotta keep in mind that an hour of juggling feels much longer than an hour of something else, so it feels like your putting in more time than you actually are

Hey great video...how long did it take you to master the 3 ball Cascade. I'm wondering how your progressed over the year. Like was the first two months harder and than you started to progress faster or how did it work?thanks
@Broskidile4 жыл бұрын
Hey great question!! The first month was pretty difficult because I had no skills or feel for the rhythm of it. I spent a lot of time practicing what I would call 'base' tricks-- tricks that aren't too complex but have a lot of variations that can be built off of. The 423 and one-up two-up are good examples of this. After that it got pretty easy, I found I could learn a trick every few days if I just focussed on it :) Some tricks took longer than others though. For example it only took me a day to learn the weave, but the box took a couple weeks!
@AtHomeFitness144 жыл бұрын
@@Broskidile nice I appreciate the advice I just started about 3 weeks ago and am also hooked. I'm going to focus on the tricks you listed. Right now I have 3 ball Cascade, jugglers tennis, and juggling two balls in each hand separately somewhat down.

@GA-op7we3 жыл бұрын
Do you have any resources you recommend? Also, how’d you know which tricks you were ready to try next?
@Broskidile3 жыл бұрын
I started by putting a lot of time in with basic tricks like cascade, 423, and one-up two-up. Then I would try and find tricks online that were similar in concept to those and use the skills I had already learned to keep progressing. That kind of helped guide me forward. As for finding new patterns, I watched a TON of three ball juggling trick compilation videos on youtube like this one. If I ever saw a trick that I liked I would write it down and then start looking for tutorials for it. There are lots of great tutorials on here, and eventually you'll find people who have a teaching style that resonates with you. As for resources: Library of Juggling - A great website with a list of lots of tricks 3balljuggling - A great instagram page with lots of tricks and descriptions of them Juggling Lab - My current favourite juggling app. Good for slowing tricks down and understanding whats happening The IJA Siteswap tutorial videos on KZbin - These were SO HELPFUL for me, just because it unlocked a lot of understanding in my brain. It also helped me better at digesting tutorials that used siteswap.
