So funny to see, how different the the numbers are for everyone. For me, I use one cleanser a year, because if foams like crazy, but I easily go through 12 dry shampoos :D

I hear you! I've enjoyed hearing everyone's numbers. I used to use 3-4 dry shampoos a few years ago, but I don't go out as much anymore and I switched to powder so I use less. When I hear 12 in my mind my moth dropped!

I just started saving my empties of some various things such as supplements 💊 and skin care… So it’s fun to see that you did this. I may expand what I’m doing, to more beauty as well but I started doing it because all those little boxes of instructions… you don’t know if you want to keep them or not but I wanted to get them out of my way so I started a basket and I also thought 💭 let me keep the empties in case I forget, and I want to replace that brand or whatever , so this is really good 🎉 -love your channel!😊

This is so interesting! I hope you will keep doing these videos. Out of curiosity, I documented and counted every non-food, non-medication item that I purchased in 2023. After watching this video, I went back to count the subcategory of cosmetic items that I used/recycled, including dental, hair, body, skin, and makeup products, which was around 70, and much higher than I anticipated. This knowledge will impact my consumption habits for the better in 2024, and I may take photos of the empty containers to document before recycling them because I have limited storage space.

For make up and skincare I used up 289 items all together that includes minis and samples. I ran through a lot of face masks & got rid of samples but I also emptied 42 lip balms /glosses /oils etc (+ 2 lip masks), 36 of which were full size and unopened at the start of last year. Used up 1 skin tint and 5 cushion foundations. 2 face powders. I'm quite happy with how many things I used up and I'm starting the year w 2 almost empty blushes, 2 face powders w giant pans, 1 almost empty bronzer and 2 highlighters w big pans🎉 I'm still trying to see how long I need to empty face masks in tubs, baked gelee products, lip sticks, body scrubs and standard foundations. I have put those in panning projects. I also have 2 eyeshadow palettes in the project but I just want to use them regularly... I don't enjoy panning eyeshadow but rather have usage goals

42 lip products? Whoa. I think I did 5. If I only used the Physician's Formula balm, I would probably be at 42, too. It goes kinda fast.😅

I have a cute dresser top organizer. It's not very big so I don't keep anything that doesn't fit. I have 2 mascaras, 3 lip glosses, tinted moisturizer, and 1 concealer. I do my own nails, so my nail stuff takes up a bigger space than makeup. Great video! Could you do a vacation packing video? I have 3 trips this year and I have always over packed!

I tracked mine last year and so far this year bc I’m actually trying to pan some specific things this year. Also my brain loves a panning list so I literally have my body lotion on there just so I’ll actually take the time to moisturize my scaly and dry winter body 😂😂 empties are so satisfying to me! So I vote yes you should keep doing them 👍🏼
