It helps but you also should look at progesterone as it helps fat distribution and it actually helps you stay calm! It might even help with sleep, but both need to be taken at the same time so there isn't too much of one and not enough of another hormone. Estrogen vs. Progesterone. Most doctors suggest taking both at the same time.

I can say personaly, it's only amount of time you go, when you go you share your life and experiece and why you feel your trans, depending how much you give In a session the therapist decides it took me 4 months only because I went 1nc a month she week week after week so depending how much you can afford how much free time you can make all depends on you, they know whether you are trans or just depressed or yes confused, by the 3-4 visit and give you a letter of recommendation for a doctor

I'm in no doubt in recognizing who I am, however I want them to recognize that without it taking so long 😭that makes sense though! 4 months is really good, I had friends going for a year smh. I paid out of pocket that was 115 a session for me lol and that's the thing they observe you see if you fit the criteria of GID gender identity disphoria, when I went to sessions I put it all out there for them my past my bullying my suicidal urges my constant dressing up my pronouns what. I wanted I went to my sessions dressed as a girl that is a factor tbh they have to see you as YOU dress how you want they of course are good at reading you my therapist saw times I went as a girl I was happier and more positive then when I went as a boy tbh I didn't even notice that ha but that's how they do it

Hey 💘 I just want to say you are brave and beautiful and how you feel matters always. I’m a girl and I thought about going ftm for years now. But now I’m wondering if I should just stay like this and talk to a girl who is mtf but still likes girls lol. Or just keep being in this body and hope everything works out. I’m a pretty girl but I feel like I’d feel more comfortable as a handsome guy. I hang out with people and sometimes I get “wow that was aggressive” and it makes me feel like I’m in an avatar or something. I don’t feel like a girl or a guy but I do resonate with dressing way less girly than girls I’ve seen. I am stylish however no matter how I dress lol.
