My wife has been daily driving her lariat First Edition hybrid for 3 years now and I’ve had my 23, XL hybrid for a year and get 45 to 60 MPG and my wife gets 39 to 45 cause she drives it a bit harder than me. We are both impressed on how nimble, practical, roomy, economical, comfortable, and kind of quick!

💯 your truck with the black appearance package looks better than the new 2025 version. I hate the new front grille and lights. I like that they added newer tech and a bigger screen but overall, the older ones look better.

Not surprised with the thin paint on the Maverick. Paint is an expensive part of the manufacturing of the truck and the Maverick is a price point truck. The old ford Maverick car from back in the day had something called an LDO option (Luxury Decor Option). Along with the interior and some exterior trim upgrades (and these were real notable upgrades with substance to them), they added something else. They added an additional coat or layer of paint. It made a real difference. Both in looks and long term durability. I wonder if we will ever see something like that offered on the Maverick pickup.

I have a 24 Lariat with 4K tow, I tow a 2,500 lbs Suzuki Samurai crawler with a Rooftop camper over the bed. Love it! gets 27 MPG avg as a daily and around 17 mpg fully loaded with gear the tent top and trailer. towed it on a 16 hr trip to the Rubicon have gone on many 3 hr trips to the desert and have not had a single issue so far. I can def feel that im pushing the car more than most with how often i tow so we shall see how long it lasts. currently at 15,000 mi in only 4 months :) also I Strait piped the truck to get some exhaust noise with a front level kit. no complaints here

That's a great looking truck

You are better off with a spray in liner. The drop in can vibrate against the paint as you drive which can result in paint rubbing off and then rusting.

I have a 24 Lariat with the All Black Package in Silver. My mileage is usually 21-22 MPG. I upgraded several thing including tinting all the windows and blacking out any chrome (AWD, silver lug nuts). I have a black interior that is so much better than the two tone seats. I have not had any problems in my 6K miles.

Nice I ordered my 2025 lariat around 10/21 when did you order yours??
@kmsbailey405Ай бұрын
@ericblankenship8299 I ordered mine 9/13 but there's a lot of people that ordered a month or so before me that's still doesn't have a production date. I was even priority code 19 but apparently everyone at the dealership is and there was only 1 before my order and my small town dealer just happened to have several allocations so I got in quick.

How much weight can your roof rack support? I am wondering if there is a carpenter or ladder rack that can be added to the Maverick so ladders and longer lumber or other items can be carried on the Maverick taking advantage of all that space on top of the roof for hauling stuff around. (Kayaks would count.)

The weight limit is 165lbs

Fake leather is one reason I went with the xlt over the lariat.

Great video, man...I just bought one yesterday, a Lariat FX4 with the 2.0 EcoBoost, same as you, and the 4k tow package. What a blast to drive! Thanks! Liked and subbed.

Always amazes me that this truck has the same (or better) interior space than the Ranger.

Not true sir. Ranger is slightly larger.

I love mine too but I wish it had some of the features that we enjoy on our Toyota Prius.

I have only had my 24 Tremor for a few months but I have mixed feelings. Drives great, rides very smooth, comfortable seats, I get 26 to 28 with a light foot. Dislikes, lots of interior rattles, so bad Ford replaced both front door panels. Loads of thin cheap interior plastics that I don't think will age well. Exterior fit and finish isn't great. Paint is ok, seen better, seen worse. I think with a little redesign on the interior, better fit and finish, Ford can make it a great truck. And now with AWD and a 4k tow package for 2025 make the Hybrid standard and drop the 2.0 turbo.

My 23 Camry V6 built in Kentucky has developed a door panel rattle. I haven’t done anything with it yet. My car currently has 14.5k miles on it. When it had only a couple hundred miles on the odo it had a dashboard rattle that I had to take to the dealership twice before it got fixed. Basically all these new cars are not being put together well. Even Toyota isn’t immune

If you need co-pilot when you drive, you should not be driving at all. You youngsters today need to grow the F up. It's two hands on the wheel and your eyes on the road at all times. Don't trust artificial intelligence.
@XSRDetroitАй бұрын
You and many other people really overestimate and misunderstand what co pilot is actually for. Go watch my 3k mile review for a better understanding on how it works.
