My husband & I really enjoy your channel! We have been full-time in our Z3100 (#0924) for nearly 9 months now & we wholeheartedly agree with you, with relation to Brinkley. We love Brinkley 's customer service & I guess I would be accused of being a "Fan Girl", too...but I'm also ok with that. 😊 Like you all, we did our homework prior to purchasing. We've had some snags along the way but Brinkley has always come through for us. What more can we say...proud Brinkley owners! It's channels like yours that have helped us along the way - you report the positives & not-so positives & that's great! Thank you for sharing information & thanks also for your service to our country! Keep the videos coming & safe travels to you both! 😊

Thank you for watching! Yes, we are okay with being Fanboys/girls. Like you guys, I am sure we were a little worried about selling our home and moving into an RV because of the problems you hear about. I put myself through the "Owners RV tech school" at NRVTA in Texas while we waited for our house to sell. That made us both feel better and gave us a better understanding of how everything worked! Y'all stay safe out there!

I have not commented for a while (#207). Thanks for all the good information. I don’t do Facebook - so your channel is my source for G info. I did the same research as you (Hershey RV shows) and came to the same conclusion - G3500. Some things that have happened recently: • The One Control pad came apart on a recent trip to Maine. The glass hit the floor and cracked. I assume the adhesive came loose from heat and our wonderful US roads. The LCD panel was just hanging there but it ripped one of the ribbon cables. Thankfully, I had my phone and tablet paired. I called Brinkley to ask if this is a common problem. They said it is not common, but they have had other instances of it happening. They had me go through my dealer to get the replacement. Just got the new one this week. All good again. • The bedroom and main GE air conditioners have stopped cooling. Fans and compressors still run, however. The garage is still cooling. Working with GE to get them repaired/replaced. They are letting my mobile Tech (and I) do the evaluation - they have no repair service in this area. Have to fill out forms and take pictures - what a pain in the rear. The two bad units are very close in serial number. If these go bad again, I am going with a different brand (Furrion or Dometic?). Questions if I may. You can reply by number. 1. Did you find a good solution to tank level readings? I find if I dump tanks when at hitch height, I can get the tanks to read empty. But you only need to put in 2 gallons and it reads 1/3 full. 2. Do you have any issues with the TST monitor reading the rear axle? With the display out at the axles, all tires read correctly. But with display in the truck, both tires on the rear axle disappear. I called TST and they said to add a second repeater. I bought one and installed it next to the Gen-Y. Still does not work. I ordered one screw on sensor to give that a try. If it works, I will buy another. 3. Can you buy those window screens for our vintage of G? 4. Is Brinkley coming out with a new suspension system for the G? Even with the Gen-Y gooseneck, I still get some chucking - especially over bridges. Do you see the same? I have essentially the same truck as you - 2024 Ram 3500 dually crew cab, HO Cummins, 8’ bed, and air leveling option. 5. Do you use the TravlFi 4G router that came with the G3500? I have been using it and its ok. I may go with a Pepwave 5G in the future. I don’t have Starlink - yet. 6. Where do you plan to spend the winter? I would like to get out of PA this winter. Thinking Texas Hill Country or somewhere in AZ. Want to be able to keep riding. I have had no issues with the Furrion backup camera dropping out or the One Control dropping Bluetooth. I use the One Control app. I have the disk brake option on the G - no issues so far - they really haul this beast down. I just had my mobile Tech do the roof vents and tank heater interposing relay. Brinkley support has been good so far. Given the increasing number of owners, I hope it stays that way. There will probably be some growing pains. Thanks and Take Care

Thank you for watching! We are glad we can help! 1. We have not found a good solution for tank readings. The service center said if you put the RV nose high while draining your front black tank (it runs north to south) it can help get it empty. 2. We had initial issues with the TST. I added a second repeater in the kitchen area near the fuse box. That fixed ours completely. Our original repeater is in the front baggage compartment. 3. I am not sure if you can retrofit the new style screens on an earlier G. 4. The newer G's went away from the MorRyde suspension. They all come with the Dexter suspension parts now. You can see it in our G factory tour video from April. We love our Ram! It is a beast. 5. We exclusively use Starlink. We gave up on the TravelFi last year. 6. We will most likely winter in Florida this year but we have also looked at the Gulf Coast and southern Texas.

The #1 thing my wife and I hope Brinkley does is to add additional floorplans that offer a bigger master bathroom. This is really the ONLY thing we don't like about the Brinkley floorplans. The options out there with the master bath up front that offers a double sink, big shower, etc. is just perfect for full-time couples IMHO. My perfect floorplan has a large master bath and a half bath mid RV and a garage or bonus room.

Those patio doors are great. We have the ubiquitous Lippert doors on ours and they leave a lot to be desired for sure. On ours the slides have not failed, those have been fine. Its how the slides are attached to the door is the problem. On mine they just used self drilling screws to attach them and about half of them just tore out of the aluminum frame in the first 6 months. I ended up getting a rivet nut tool and put rivet nuts in all the screw holes and used machine screws to hold the slides on. No issues since.

Great Video! I am new to your channel and like you we have been researching for the last 18 months the whole RV enchilada. The first time we set foot in a Brinkley we knew that it was something different about it. The first thing I did was open a drawer, may seem silly but that is the first thing that was a deal killer for me. And when I saw the dove tail solid wood construction I knew that quality was there. We are retiring in 12 months and finally pulled the trigger last month and bought the Z3400. We had a family emergency which led us to do a shake down trip from South Carolina to Portland Oregon. New truck 2020 Ram 3500 DRW and our #3352 Brinkley. The drive out went flawlessly. We have been living in it for three weeks and could not be happier. We have some minor issues that need to be addressed like pocket door has come off the track in travel and for the life of me I cannot get it back on, also some trim that came off the back porch door which I can address myself. Also the cargo bay door is bowed and you have to really fuss with it to get it to latch. But that is it. We have owned a couple of Cougar fifth wheels and they served us well as weekend campers, but the Brinkley is far above that. I do spend a lot of time debating Brinkley haters because I truly believe Brinkley is one of the best RV manufacturers out there, so I am happy to debate the GD owners and others when they spew unfounded opinions. The only thing for me is did I buy the right model. Part of me wishes I would have gone with a G model, but hey we can always upgrade in a year or so!😁

(66 Mustang on Burlington Bill, you tube). So, after the service we bought a tent camper and now we are on our eighth fifth wheel which is a Brinkley 3100 Z. We have had it to Alaska for last summer and then Arizona where we lived off grid five months for the winter. We know JD and all the others at Brinkley, and they have treated us like gold. Micah has personally taken care of us several times. We knew him from Grand Design. Well, I'm rambling a bit but check out Burlington Bill for some original music and some covers along with a few videos from Alaska. Travel safe and always keep the positive vibe. Great question! This is our first RV and we researched for 14 months before selecting the Brinkley G. We were both happy that almost everything we wanted in a toy hauler was included in the Brinkley. As an example, we looked at the Jayco Seismic and they nickel and dime you by charging for a generator or an extra Ac unit. It also did not come with solar or lithium batteries. The final price was over $148K for that Jayco. We bought ours, as it was built, for about $4K less. The only two options we chose were the GenY gooseneck hitch and the queen bed, which gives you nightstands. There is not much else that we need or want to add. If I had to add anything it would be more solar and more lithium batteries.
