Considering some companies make product design mistakes, Savior owned up and made it right. Pretty noble to me. Especially nowadays. I own two Savior rifle soft cases and absolutely love them. Thanks for sharing your experience.

I like Savior gear, I have a couple of rifle bags and this range bag. The fact that they owned up to a design flaw that came up later means a lot to me. It makes me more likely to buy gear later from them. Thanks for watching!

The side with no pouch is for comfort when using the shoulder strap. Which it appears you may have on backwards. The notch is supposed to align with the flat (non pouched) side.

I've got the same bag and use it as my utility-range bag. It's where all the tools, staplegun, sticker-targets, etc go. I must have gotten one of the newer ones because I've had no issue with my frame. It was interesting to see where your opinion differed. For example, I like the side with no pouches because it means that side of the bag can be tucked up flat against a wall or in the cargo area of my car.

I love hearing other peoples opinions about the gear I have. I have talked to some people that like the pocket like I do and others like yourself that like it to be flat. Honestly, if my last bag didn't have it, I probably wouldn't mind missing the pouch. I don't know why I edited out one of my comments in the video, but I said it would be cool if they put MOLLE there so I can decide to put other pouches on or leave it slick side. Thanks for watching! @TheRogueBanshee moving from one bag to another is always a challenge because unless it's a 100% copy of the last bag you can't put the same stuff in the same places. A lot like moving residences.

Thank you for the update. I have the same bag in black. I primarily use my bag for USPSA. It’s perfect for that. I’m good with not having the pouch on the one side because when loaded out the “smooth” side is just more comfortable on your body. Nice review !

I have the Pistol Range Bag too in Coyote. Your bag still looks brand new after 1 year, that is great durability.

Great video! I wish more KZbinrs made more follow-up videos. Funny enough, your gripe about not having storage on all 4 sides is part of the reason I invested in this bag. My previous bag had storage on all 4 sides and I rarely used the 4th side. Though I do wish the 4th side had a slit to store paper or simple small nicknacks. Just a nit pick a this point. Ultimately great bag in my short time of having it.

It's funny to see the debate of 4th side pocket or not. What would have been nice is some Molle there like the top so you can choose what you want, if you want it. I use the top Molle as my 4th side. I guess my next complaint is that I will want a 5th side. I totally see why some would not want it that way and now that I attach to the top, my complaint is addressed. It is a great bag and I am happy that it replaced my old bag. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment.

I get that, but I have had other bag with storage pockets on that side and didn’t have a problem. It’s just a preference of mine to have as much storage as possible.

Do the loose sacs fit anywhere nicely for ammo in the bag? I think the mini sacs will fit better

Mini sacs would fit better, but I have had the (one) loose sac in there before, but it depends on how much you have in the bag. I usually throw the loose sacs in with the rest of my gear since I am usually out with several calibers.

It’s good stuff and a lot cheaper than some of the big brand names. I refuse to buy anything China, so I’d rather spend more money and get a better product.

I have the smaller 2 gun gun bag. While I’m impressed with the quality and the company it’s just too small. Time to upgrade to the big dog. Thanks for the review! 🫶🏼
