ONE YEAR Without Social Media | How it Changed My Life

It's been one whole year since I deleted every social app from my phone. My life has changed in so many ways for the better. It's crazy how one small decision can have such a large impact.
I didn't realize how much mental capacity it was taking up until it was gone. I can now use that mental energy on bigger and better things. AND I AM!

I deleted Instagram for almost an year. And rejoined recently. Now I feel a lot better. I don't want to have a social validation from people. Gonna delete it again. Life was very much peacefull without social media. I don't wanna know what others are doing. I don't want to show off myself in front of others.

I deleted social media for 2 months now. And the only thing I regret is that I did not do it sooner. It was such a waste of my life. At the end of the day, people are on social media for selfish reasons. People don’t care about YOU, they care about what they SHOW YOU. They are about the gratification they receive from their posts. You the audience, is just a dopamine kick for them.

I deleted social media over 6 months ago now. Haven’t regretted it once. I’m not going back. KZbin is something I still need to figure out how to limit myself, but so happy to be off social media after over a year of trying to quit.

We exisited for hundreds of years without it, and yet with its creation there are some that can't live without it? It really feels like a majaority of society is in a fish bowl and sometimes all you want to do is have a different view than everyone else in that fish bowl...
