Charn, the lawyer guy, is a strong actor. There's something about his expressions. In just one episode, I saw his flirty smile (after the lead saved him from getting killed. It was second or third scene.) Then we saw Charn’s cunning smile when he saw the little girl's news. He saw it as an opportunity for himself to climb the ladder of success and power. His bold behaviour when he yanked Tin against the gates when he went to meet him. His unrelenting smile that said I give zero fucks when Tin threw the torn check at his face. His expression was amazing when he warned Tin in his office that the people had money and that Tin should back off + his wicked smile when he called Tin cute and when he touched Tin’s forearm, it showed his attraction to Tin. Then when Charn got beat up, we saw his maniacle smile when he said he was excited, because he definitely knew the convict and his father were hiding something. This actor playing Charn can pull off strong eye contact and an array of emotions that are flawless. Gosh I loved watching him. Loved the plot too!

This series should seriously have millions of views, I don't understand why it doesn't, perhaps marketing is bad and not a lot of people know about it. 6 episodes in and the writing is still really good, the main plot about finding out the truth is strong, the romance is perfect. Apart from maybe a few bad visual effects (that fire in the office lol), everything is done really well. I'm hoping more people discover this gem of a series later on, if they haven't yet.

@Starforme1 Chan is not cruel tho, it's a mask to hide his pain, the whole story is much more nuanced than that. And Tinn fell for Chan BEFORE he knew Chan was working for the MP/senator. Once he learned that fact, you can see how angry and betrayed he is. Then, of course, Chan starts working with Tinn & things change. But I don't think the beginning is unrealistic. It was absolutely clear to me from the start that Chan's fake smile was fake for a reason. He has been living his life totally cut off from emotions on purpose: it's a defense mechanism. When you are hurt so bad, you shut down & pretend like you don't care about anything. But then this case happened & he met Tinn - and he starts becoming more genuine. No more "faking your life" but rather experiencing it. Chan's transformation is compelling and true to the character. You should keep watching, trust me, it's a really good story.

@Starforme1 well, I'm glad you'll give the show a chance. Who knows, maybe you'll like it (or elements of it), but even if you don't that's ok. After all, we don't all have to like the same things and some things may not appeal to all people. I understand what you mean, and I'm not excusing the lawyer's behaviour, but to me, his initial portrayal was not a problem. Chan is a flawed character. If he started out perfect, where would he go from there. He starts out at point A, and for me, the interesting things has been watching him go from point A to point B in his character development. Btw, Tinn changes too. He starts out as being very naive about the world. He wants justice, and that's admirable, but like Chan says, the real world doesn't work like that - most people don't get justice. If you want to beat horrible people like that MP, if you want power, security, money, anything, you have to play the game. Obviously, Chan takes that to extreme because he has been through some extreme stuff himself. But he is more realistic about the world than Tinn. I think throughout the series, the writers did a good job of showing their differences and how they need each other not only to solve the case but to grow as people.

When Charn smiles, my body feels the chill while my heart trembles in excitement. He has God level looks and Satan level personality. Damn, when he gets excited it's like an invitation to a Hell tour!! I absolutely love his character. Not to forget the cuteness of his face amidst all of this, resemblance of Nanon ( whom I dearly admire😌). Apart from that there is great chemistry among every single character and the mysterious air of the show is chair binding. I hope this momentum continues throughout.
