A truly beautiful area, great video. Originally all the traces were old buffalo migration trails. Natchez Trace - Wikipedia Origins - The trail was created and used by Native Americans for centuries, and was later used by early European and American explorers, traders, and emigrants in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. European Americans founded inns, also known as "stands", along the Trace to serve food and lodging to travelers. Always a thumbs up 👍👍

444 miles without a stop sign or light? That's so cool! During tick season, you can dust your shoes and the bottoms of your pant legs with sulfur that you get a garden store. It will deter the ticks. Not sure how you could protect Roodle. It would look funny to have him wearing a full body suit that you dusted with sulfur. Lol. Not to mention that would be too hot. Can you take a 5th wheel on this road?
@oneadVANtureatatime3 жыл бұрын
Yes! There were many on the road and in the campgrounds. Have a great time and enjoy. 😎

Sorry. I was laughing at u for how u pronounced Natchez. It is Nat (pronounced like the bug). U missed out on the city Natchez. Beautiful with a lot of history. The visitor center is so good. Also if u go there get their food (close enough to get Cajun food).

😂 Thank you, Samantha! We appreciate the correction as we will be talking about this area for a good amount of time. We look forward to returning some time and focusing on the history more. 😀

Hi, you guys. I don't know if you recall, but my friend, Lori and I met you two and Broodle (sp?) at a river in Southern Oregon the day after Memorial Day 2020 when you guys were picking up trash that the lazy, thoughtless, litterbugs left behind. Lori said you were up in Montana for sugar beet harvest but she missed your call and was sorry about that. I'm going to be traveling up from Southern California at around the same time/same place as last year, probably arriving at that river in early June., Are you guys going to be anywhere in the Pacific Northwest? I would love to visit with you again and swap stories if you're game. I'm not fully vaccinated yet, but wear my mask, keep a respectful distance, and follow common-sense rules. I'll check back here before I leave and will try to find your business card to see if there is better contact info. I'll look for you on Instagram too,. Be well, safe, and happy. All the best, Deb

Hi Deb! Of course, we remember you! 😀 That was an amazing spot on the Chetco River. We are currently in Kentucky and are slowly in route to Colorado for the summer. We are not sure when we will make it back to the west coast. We would love to meet you on the road again! I will leave our Instagram. Let us know of you go to Colorado this August. Best wishes and happy travels. 😀 Instagram.com/one.advanture.at.a.time

You must have never had a fireplace at home or went camping before, fires usually or cozy and add to any setting especially sitting around a campfire with Friends not to mention if it’s warm it will repel bugs. So it’s a good time anytime to have aFire

@Deanne Gowland No more pollution than vehicles create plus I would rather burn (natural) wood than use pesticides to keep biting insects away. How do you cook when camping to avoid pollution?
