FYI. I live less than 10mins from here. This place has completely changed since the review. Huge lines. I had to wait 45mins and got both the cheesesteak and pizza just to try with a friend. It was great. Huge support from the community right now.

You're entitled to your opinion about Delco's, but they do have thousands of 5 star reviews. Delco's was first recommended to me by someone from Germantown. Also, Delco Cheesesteaks are served at Philadelphia Phillies spring training games, but what do I know. I must be an idiot for thinking Delco's might have a good cheesesteak. I didn't know you had to be in the city limits of Philadelphia to get a decent cheesesteak. I bet that pizza Dave reviewed was also hot garbage. He was lying when he gave it a seven nine. I get mistakes, I work at a pizza shop that Dave came and reviewed. There has to be a level of quality control and the fact that they sent that pizza out means that they would send that out to their customers. I hope they take this as a learning experience and start checking their pizzas.

Your facial reaction when you bit into the cheesesteak showed all how good and legit it was. Thank you for giving them a second shot I know it's not the normal standard but when you think about places putting out pizzas all day there has to be a mistake here or there. I don't live in Florida but I have a few friends who live in the St Pete Tampa area I already told them to check this place out. They were originally from the Philly Jersey area I'm sure they'll love the cheesesteak.

I lived around the corner from Violet Stone for about 6 months. Was so stoked to try it when I learned they were from Philly, cause so am I. Tried it once. Never went back. The first pizza, the burnt bottom one, is how their pizza is supposed to be according to the owners. Read their Yelp reviews. If you complain they tell you to go to Dominoes. If Dave was a regular customer they would’ve told him to go F himself for asking for a remake. I guarantee no customer will ever get a pizza from them that is cooked like the second one.

I am a Phillies fan who attends Spring Training every year. I stay in Clearwater and have been going to Delco's in Dunedin for years. This place offers great Cheesesteaks and Hoagies. I was in St Pete when I first saw this review and tried to try it out, but they had run out of food due to the "Portnoy Effect". My friend lives in St Pete and said their sandwiches and pizza are both great. I can't wait to try it out next year.

Dave got to go to Manninos Italian Restaurant Tamarac FL for their cheese pizza one bite review. Growing up in NYC and Long Island and living in FL 33 years havent found anything better than them for authentic pizza. Plus they got a tour of Italy for 47.99. You get 4 huge meatballs,4 huge stuffed shells, 4 pieces chucken parmesan, 2 lbs ziti, a huge salad, 6 garlic rolls and an 18 in XL pizza. Everything is awesome but I think their pizza has what you require. Got me analyzing every pizza joint now cause of you and this pizza has good undercarriage, very thin, not oily and tastes authentic. My wife and I have had Tour of Italy 4 times now and the food lasts 3 days. Hope you go there and see for yourself

For everyone saying the owner was making an excuse with oven, you have no clue. I've grown up and owned many wood fired pizza restaurants. Each oven has its kinks, but sometimes getting the bricks hot and keeping it at right temp is difficult. Every so often you have to spread the coals to reheat bricks. The first pies that come off after tend to over cook the bottom. He will learn, but yes some days the oven sucks. Extremely difficult to do volume out of wood fire.
