We love Denison math. Best math curriculum we have used in 8 years of homeschooling. My 14 year old daughter went from hating math to thriving with Mr. Denison last year. I'm filling in gaps for my 12 year old daughter with learn math fast and once she's ready we are moving her into dension prealgebra . We have truly seen the change when it comes to math time in our home. I hope you all are blessed by it as we have been. 🎉 I cant help but get excited that Mr. Denison program is getting mentioned more and more.

Good morning! Thank you for sharing! My 7th grader will continue to use Math U See. He is also doing pre algebra, and he is also using Life of Fred. It’s a great combination for him. We are using CLE for language arts but for writing he is using Sonlight. He is using Sonlight for history and Apologia General Science. We still do Bible as a family, but he is taking off in his own direction for everything else this year.

My 7th graders denison pre algebra just came in the mail yesterday! I heard about it on Jamie's channel and ordered it right away! Switching from Saxon and Dive CDs. She is so excited she wants to start tomorrow!

I’ve never heard of Denison Math and this is our 8th year homeschooling! I feel like I know all the curriculums! I will definitely be looking into this for our 7th grade year!

Look into teaching textbooks for your daughter as well. Mine loves hers. She's only in 4th...but seriously...I've watched you talk about your math struggles throughout the years and my daughter has been the same and I began homeschooling her in 2020. Every year math has been a struggle with her. She likes teaching textbooks though. Anything she likes I like even more because I don't have to listen to the crying or frustration.

I think this is my 18th year as a Homeschool mom(I've graduated my oldest 3 so far). I don't have a 7th grader this school year, but I do have a 6th grade daughter(newly 11y.o.)and an 8th grade son(almost 13 y.o.)as well as a Highschool Senior(newly 17y.o. son) a Highschool Freshman(newly 14 y.o. son)and two 3rd graders(*NOT twins. 9 1/2 y.o. daughter and newly 8 y.o. son). My 8th grade son is just 15 months younger than his 9th grade brother and they have usually done most things together, so we're continuing with that, but my 8th grader will scale back/not have as many requirements in his work as he doesnt need the highschool credit, but my 9th grader does, so we're using Highschool curriculum. My 6th grader is doing: *Teaching Textbooks for math(we also supplement with Life of Fred) *MasterBooks for Science( w/MasterBooks Academy) *Veritas Press Self-Paced for History *Veritas Press Self-Paced for Bible *IEW Fix-it-Grammar *IEW Structure & Style 1A(*With a Homeschool Friend Group) *The Good and the Beautiful Handwriting *Cantering the Country(A light and Fun American History/Geography/Science etc... in a once a week Homeschool Friend Group/Co-op) *American History Historical Fiction for Literature *The Bible/Missionary Stories/American History Read-Alouds/Window on the World/Poetry/World Watch etc...etc...in our Family Morning Meeting time. My 8th grader is doing: *Teaching Textbooks * Second Form Latin *Berean Builders Earth Science w/ lab *Notgrass: Exploring American History *IEW: Structure & Style 1C *An Art Class *Literature(Personal Choice) *Family Learning in our Morning Meeting time. I've never used The Good and the Beautiful Language Arts, but you have me intrigued! I definitely LOVE all things IEW(I also LOVE The Lost Tools of Writing for upper Middle School and early Highschool levels, this is actually my first time using IEW for these levels(previously we've only used IEW for 4th/5th/6th grades).

Huh the motherhood part throws me. Single father battling ex wife to start homeschool. Daughter is 12 and I know and foresee the educational system as a way to single out individuals and create an obedient workforce. No more about empowering our youth to dream about improving their circumstances and community. Thank you and I do like the financial element. We want to focus on better living habits also. Bad habits are torturous to break while creating good habits are exponentially harder.

Have you watched the teacher training seminars for Structure and Style? Or do you just use the kids videos? Do you watch them too? We've used their theme based writing but I feel like they may get more instruction with the videos. I'm wondering if you've done the training videos too?

The levels for iew go 1A 2A 1B 2B 1C 2C. There is a pathway on their website. Even typing this straight from their website i got it wrong. So confusing
