There’s no disputing Ondash’s raw talent, power and killer instinct. He is a force to reckoned with, and will be even more so in the future. However I didn’t appreciate his showboating or the taunting of his opponent. Hopefully this is something that experience and maturity will lead him to outgrow.

Ondash is generational talent, if he had thrown in just a couple more knees/kicks off of either the clinch or feints, this wouldn't have even gone the distance. still, pichitchai is also unimaginably strong just for going through that and maintaining composure the whole time, props to them both

I just wonder how often / how many times Pichitchai has been faced with flurries of powerful left hook punches in the very first round of those conventional MT fights (8oz gloves, 5 rounds) throughout his fighting career... Based on that, it is not surprising that even a veteran is taken aback and knocked down twice in that way.

Beautiful. Pichitchai said in the pre fight interview he’ll teach Ondash real Muay Thai. Typical arrogance from Thai fighters who think they’re always superior to the foreigners. I guess real Muay Thai is being dropped twice in the first round 🙌🏻

the kid is definatelly good but has only one big weapon - he still needs to learn a lot. Actually in this fight I was more impressed with much older fighter - as he refused to give up and did stand his man at the end the youngster got a few hevy blows too. Additional they should teach Ondash it is very bad habbit to 'show boat' Ondash is good but still has a long way to go to be a serious contender for the belt.

The only reason he won was because of the 1st round. He lost the 2nd and 3rd mainly because of not enough activity, and Pichitchai took advantage, winning the rounds. His weapon is the left hook, but he doesn't show much more than that to be able to end fights. Ondash needs to kick much more. I don't think he threw a kick in the 1st round. You don't win titles with one weapon. I just looked Ondash up, and there is a video from 7 years ago this month (August 2024), in which he was 10 years old and fighting a four round Muay Thai fight. Two things were obvious; he can take a kick to the nuts, and he was a showboat at 10 years old. So this isn't something he is learning, his handlers have obviously let him continue to do it since at least 10 years old.
