This is one champion's take on muay Thai. Combat sports are made complicated these days by virtue of every individual organization governing themselves differently. Like MMA for example. There's hundreds of arenas around the world with different rules and ways to judge. There is no one rule to rule over all. In Thailand... Muay Thai is supposed to be about beauty and the more graceful fighter can win be decision even if he was clearly pushed back more. Outside of Thailand, muay thai is more about brutality and grace isn't really given any importance. Also, another thing that one championship likes to do is score a fight in its entirety instead of round by round. They change this and mix it up for different events

Dieselnoi ? Elite fighter...yes. "Sky Piercing Knee"...no. He is an accomplished fighter but lacks the height to get the leverage the real Dieselnoi had to deliver his incredible knee strikes. Still, he would be an exciting addition to the ONE stable & its a shame he missed out.
