Yamagishi broke the rules. Muay Thai rules prohibit picking up your opponent and throwing them to the ground. He did it many times. Why didn't the referee warn him?

But in Myanmar they fight lethwei, not exactly muay thai. Both are quite similar. The name muay thai is more famous. Both are great styles. This bout was kickboxing vs lethwei.

Wow, what an exciting slug fest. Think Moe was playing a dangerous game by trading blows and going away from throwing those devastating leg kicks. His leg kicks were so effective and Moe should have kept hammering Yamagishi thighes until they turned to jelly. But, hey, was such a great fight!!!

Legs is literally the foundation of Muay Thai. It's where you get your power, and balance. Chop those legs off and your strikes won't be effective like Takeru's fight against Superlek.
