Came here because i was going to make wooden spoons for all my freinds and family for Christmas presents....i know who's not getting one now since there only a dollar, Lol. Back to the drawing board i guess.... maybe chopsticks or personal toothpicks this year

Turning the wood like that switches the reference edge. This is not a great approach.
