I totally agree with you, AdSense is a sort of balancing act, if you want people to stay on your website as that's where you make your primary income, then hosting AdSense on that page is a little bit like shooting yourself in the foot. However, and by complete contrast if you make AdSense your primary income, stick at it and to master it, then you could make a very good income. I commented on an earlier video that I have a friend who bought their entire house from commissions from AdSense and since making that comment I have spoken to her and although AdSense has changed a lot it can still make quite astounding incomes. Thank you for another thought-provoking and enlightening video.

You can never be sure what algorithm Google has put into the mix, and you could be 100% correct just liking a video making comments could make a difference. I'm sure sooner or later someone will have something to say on this particular subject.

Yea, was going to say absolutely not. That'll get you banned. However.......Media.net is another provider and I don't think it's against their terms of service. Something worth testing if you have enough traffic.

Click bait in its purest form. I mean it’s so clearly click bait, that’s it’s ingenious. I’m not hating but I was a little upset. You know very well that probably 90% of the views you got on this video are from people who had no intention of finding a video with the content you just provided. People searched for a specific question, and wanted to know if Google as sense cost money for an account. I will give credit for your mastery of keywords, titles, and descriptions. And you added the tiny part about the person coming to your site, or blog, then clicking an ad leaving your site in order to investigate the product from the ad. I can’t prove that isn’t what you planned and genuinely consider that a “cost”. If that’s the case... IF it is, then perhaps you should take your own advice, because affiliate marketing, even though it does pay much more than Google ad sense in my brief research, BUT the turnover from affiliate links is not much better. I’d probably say that a loyal, new subscriber who may provide their email, or subscribe to a newsletter, or just become a regular to my site is more valuable than them most like NOT buying whatever the affiliate link or Google ad is selling. Truth is that most ppl won’t click the ad and read your blog. Or they’ll read then click. Or they’ll click and then come back. What products are you promoting that are so awesome, that after catching someone’s eye to your site, getting the hardest part over with by getting the viewer to your home base so to speak, that it made them completely forget about it at the site of a banner ad? I’m sorry for coming off like this. I usually don’t comment like this. In fact I never comment either way. But this last thing is truly 100% legit and honest from the heart. You don’t have to admit to if I’m right, and I’m probably wrong anyway, but if I am then be truthful to yourself because you have a really good eye and sense for proper keywords and how to put them in those places that most never know existed to drive ppl to your videos and push it to the top. You have decent subscriber count, and views. I’m not saying that. But no where near enough to be able to justify why your video is the 1# on the list and I searched for 3 different things on KZbin with completely different wording and you came in top 3 at worst. The amount of likes for the algorithm are low as well. You need to begin making videos on keywords and how to properly use and place them throughout your content to get the most bang for you time so to speak. You’d have a $1,000 course and and SEO empire before I can drive home tonight.
