This only talk about 1 bidding strategy, how about other automated bidding strategies and how do they affect your budget? TROAS, Maximize Clicks, Impressions, TCPA etc? I'm sure they behave differently! I switched from manual to automated and it has worked wonders!

I'd tell that client that views mean nothing, quality clicks means everything. Click quality depends on the keywords we're targeting. And any number I tell you right now is a lie until we find out what keywords we're targeting. & until then, let's focus on the maximum you're willing to spend to generate the maximum amount of results.

In-stream ads tend to be around $0.10 to $0.30 per action on average. The average cost per click on display ads tends to be under a dollar. They are both effective, but you should consider where your audience is seeing you the most if you choose one over the other. If your target audience tends to watch more videos, then in-stream ads might be the better option. Or if you get a lot of traffic from search engines or web pages, then having your ads show in the Display Network might be the better option.

Yes, that is correct! If you set a lifetime budget, or even a monthly budget cap, then Google will automatically stop your ads so that you do not go over that budget

They shouldn't exceed your monthly budget, they just might spend more on some days and less on others. But by the end of the month it should be the equivalent of having spent $2 every day. So they will charge you for all of it.

Right now google ads are just so not worth it for indonesia. With a cpm of $0.3 for youtube i have to spend way more than 1% for cpc not to mention the cost to have you marketer as a middle man not feasible i say. Google ads are just now not at all feasible for countries with cpm below $1.

We totally hear you! We really do think it's worth the investment, but if that's not something you can afford yet then that is totally okay. There are still testing methods you can perform on a smaller budget, as well as plenty of free analytics tools that can help you see what's working for your Google ads!
