It’s still Stanton but Cruz is just better at hitting the ball then Stanton, and his swing is way cleaner so he gets more power behind it

@@TommyCruz-ec9xv I miss when the Bucs had Jeff Bannister as the hitting coach. He was a hitting guru; played a big role in the development of Cutch, Marte and Pedro. He was working with Polanco, and he quickly fell into obscurity when Bannister left.

These analytics and how many mhp a ball comes off a bat is ridiculous, the swing angle has changed so that batters are trying to hit home runs all the time which leads to 150/170 strike outs per year for these fools, nobody has pride in hitting anymore, back in the day hitters were ashamed if they struck out more than 40/50 times per year

He just has to priortize any kind of contact and eliminate a lot of the swing and miss. When he's hot, there's few better but when he's cold, he doesn't touch the ball and his at bats are very short lived.

Ya ya....a muffin hit is still a hit. A fence scraper homerun is still a homerun. No kidding. The point of the video was to highlight how absurdly impressive it is to hit 3 balls 115+ mph in a single game. Because it is that; absurdly impressive.
