@@OneManWolfPack it depends what is your definition by closed, tourism! Before 2018 and for decades, between 10 to 15 millions pilgrims from all around the world were coming to saudi every year and the plan is to increase that to 30 millions by 2030 It's called Umrah and Hajj visa which is part of religious tourism. Business visa also was bringing thousands of people everyyear. For sure nowadays it's better easier and everyone are welcome to saudi by the E-visa on the arrival or by applying. Anota thing as you see millions of expats or foreigners are living in Saudi Arabia, in matters of facts Saudi is the second country with numbers of immigrants after US with 13 millions which represent 33% of the population. I lived in this country for almost 40 (forty) years so I know about the things there more than most others. I appreciate your perspective, but it's important to address some of the misconceptions and generalizations in your comment: Stereotyping and Generalizations: It's unfair to label an entire group of people, in this case, Saudi nationals, as extremists, radicals, or overly zealous. Saudi Arabia, like any other country, has a diverse population with varying opinions and beliefs. Making sweeping generalizations is not productive for a meaningful conversation. View on Women's Rights: While Saudi Arabia has had a history of strict gender roles and dress codes, it's worth noting that the country has been undergoing significant changes in recent years. Women have gained the right to drive and vote, which they have celebrated. Societal norms are evolving, and many women are advocating for their rights within the context of their culture and society. Choice in Dress and Freedom: Your assertion that Western women have the freedom to dress as they choose because they "FOUGHT for their freedom" is accurate, but it's important to recognize that advocating for change within a society can also be a form of fighting for one's rights. Many individuals and groups within Saudi Arabia are working towards greater gender equality and freedom for women. Cultural Relativism: It's essential to respect cultural differences and avoid imposing Western standards on other societies. What might seem restrictive from an outsider's perspective may be seen differently by those living within that culture. Progress often takes time, and change must come from within. Understanding Local Perspectives: If you have concerns about women's rights or societal norms in Saudi Arabia or any other country, it's valuable to engage in open and respectful dialogue with people from those regions. Understanding their perspectives and the complexities of their situation can lead to more constructive conversations. In conclusion, it's crucial to approach discussions about cultural differences and societal norms with empathy and respect. While criticism is valid, it's more productive to engage in informed and nuanced conversations that take into account the complexities of each society's history and ongoing developments. Wish you a productive day.

They have their reasons for dressing that way and they live in the desert and having your nose covered would keep the sand from going up into your nose cause I have a lot of sandstorm sometimes. And I hear the black actually helps keep them cool then I guess after a while you would get used of it. Thank God that He saved us from the dirty "rainbow" diseases that bring the following: When two individuals of the same sex engage in sexual activity, the potential drawbacks or risks may include: Higher Risk of Certain STIs: Same-sex couples can have a higher risk of contracting sexually transmitted infections (STIs) like HIV, syphilis, or gonorrhea, particularly if safe sex practices (e.g., condom use) are not consistently followed. Mental Health Impact: Stigmatization, discrimination, or rejection based on one's sexual orientation can lead to increased rates of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, and substance abuse among individuals involved in same-sex sexual activities. Legal and Societal Challenges: Depending on the legal and cultural context, individuals involved in same-sex activities may face legal consequences or discrimination, which can negatively impact their well-being and personal safety. It's important to note that these drawbacks are often a result of societal factors, stigma, or unsafe sexual practices rather than the sexual activities themselves. Encouraging safe sex practices and promoting acceptance and equal rights can mitigate some of these risks.
