If it Torah remained uncorrupted, only God knows, maybe only confirmation would have been enough. But when part of it is clearly been tampered with in every way possible, God would need to both confirm, add and substitute it. (Confirm the part which somehow survived, and substitute the parts which are corrupted, and addition for necessity of time) Do you know why in Quran archangel Jibreel is addressed as holy spirit? Did you even studied that? No, you just used it to make a twisting trick question. You are not in search of truth. You just want trouble and confusion. Most of the question you make are already answered by acknowledged muslim scholars over and over again. You just don't look it up, you are in not search of truth. You want spread confusion. Not only you close your mind, you want to close other people's mind. Lastly, you know that holy Quran has presented an open challenge. Right? If all proof and logic in the world fails to convince you that holy Quran is world of God, you just have to do two things. One, present an unquestionable error of any kind in holy Quran. Two, bring a book or a chapter or a verse which is in better quality than holy Quran without help of God. Do this two things and I shall be convined that holy Quran is not from Allah and leave the folds of current Islam.
