Almost a year ago I came across a table like this where young men and women were passing out information about God. I took a pamphlet about Mary and how she conceived and gave birth to Jesus. The story was so beautiful, it made me tearful. At the very bottom of the article was a footnote that the story was derived from the Holy Quran. I was absolutely floored, I had no inclination Islam knew about Jesus. The following day I went to a bookstore and started reading the translation of the Quran. I read it overnight in the parking lot of the bookstore. The following day, that morning, I drove to the closest masjid on Google Maps. I spoke with a gentleman in the mosque for an hour, and I knew the Quran was the infallible word of Allah swt. I recited the Shahada that day, and my life changed overnight. Alhamdulillah I am a Muslim convert at the age of 70.

A suggestion for Sheikh ibn Farooq, I appreciate not only your patience but stamina, I would like to suggest that Let's Get Biblical by Rabbi Singer, (so neither side) as an aid. It gives so much information about exactly how the Bible was corrupted from a linguistic perspective. Perhaps it would aid you in your discussions with Christians , Insha Allah, as I found it quite helpful

And the way he responds to Christian claims such as the prophecies in Daniel or Isaiah are worth looking into. His knowledge of the Bible is amazing. Both are knee deep in filth according to their foundations. Conquest and domination is how they both spread with every atrocity enacted on both sides. They were NOT established on the ROCK. In that same bible humans wrestle with God and defeat him, prophets fornicate with their daughters (Lot) and have children, prophets worship idols (solomon) to please wives, all manner of evil is placed on the feet of God and his messengers, the same stories in Quran and you will find that such evil is not atttributed, you will never find prophet Lot in Quran sleeping with his daughters and getting drunk, yet the story of lot is there uncorrupted, it is soooo hard for Christian’s to admit that corruption exists in the Bible, i give up.

We believe that we've been created by Allah (all praise be to Him) and to Him we will return (after resurrection and to give accounts on The Day of Judgement). In Arabic we say أمانة (Amana : I don't know how to translate it accurately in English or if the word exists) is like if the body is a "consignment" and we have to take good care of it until it returns to its Creator. So, everything that will change the natural or original state of that "body" or harm it in anyway, is PROHIBITED in Islam. We can enumerate few forbidden things like : Alcohol, drugs, (intoxicants in general), tattoos, transgender, homosexuality, etc. And every one of these prohibitions has common and specific reasons and wisdom behind its prohibition. For us Muslims, once we establish in our brains and hearts that Allah is our Creator and Quran is His literal Word, then everything go easy. We obey Allah and His Messenger for what Allah dictates for us for He's The Creator and He's The Only One Who Knows what benefit us and what harms us. From this point, we SUBMIT to His Will (this is what the world MUSLIM means in Arabic : Submitted to one's Creator Will). Do you believe in The Creator ? If yes, Are you fully submitted to His Will ? As a revert that was Catholic, God is a God of mercy coz he gives you all these chances and ways to earn his mercy, forgiveness and paradise (dhkir, prayer, deeds and charity). Heck if Islam wasn't a religion of peace worshipping a merciful God, it wouldnt have charity as an obligation of a follower. Do not judge a religion off fox news nor from imperfect people following a perfect religion. We are not God we can never be perfect, thus the mercy of Islam and the mercy Allah gives you out of love that Allah has for you. I reverted as along with never really believing A MAN could be GOD and at most just have God consciousness I took issue that something was not right when, u have to confess to a man who most priests are looking the other way or doing it themselves abusing kids. And the church does nothing about it and villafies the kids, goes out of the way to silence the victims and if that's not enough does nothing doesnt call the cops on the priest when there are more than 1 case instead just moves him to another parish or the 3rd world where he can get away with it again. We had a royal commission over this and the stories from victims are horrific, most end up suciding themselves and suffer from drug abuse. The catholic church is vile and evil for me, Islam is where it's at. And then don't get me started on catholic parents that will silence their own child that got abused and also the parish will demonise the child. Absolutely abyssal and morally bankrupt. I do dot envy such people on their death bed. They say they follow Jesus, God who is mercy yet they are everything but that when it counts; hypocrites.

so the idea for having a conversation, is to listen until it is finished and then answer until it is answered. Even in the mids of discussion we found some disagreement, we have to wait still until they are done. And then once they are done, then we can ask or tell of what it is to convey. When one is try to answer then another is trying to cutoff or talk over, it is no longer a conversation but its an infinite loop of waste of talk. May Allah grant patience to brother Uthman.

Exactly... (1) If the offsprings of Adam is born with sin, and if the penalty of sin is death, there wouldnt be any babies or us or KZbin in this world. But according to Christians Mary is sinless. So Mary is sinless or sinful? Then again, Mary won't be there for god to choose to be born from if babies are put to death immediately. Hmmm.... That being said, (2) if Mary gave birth to god, does that mean god was sinful when he was born? (3) If god is Father, Jesus is god, and Jesus is son of Mary, so Mary is the mother or daughter of Jesus? (4) According to them if eating the flesh of god earns you salvation, did Mary eat the god's aka her own son's flesh? How was his flesh distributed evenly among his disciples then?
