It's going to be alright, sister. I believe that Christians who revert back to Islam are more beloved by Allah. Our temporary life on earth is but a test by Allah, which you've passed already since you managed to find the truth in Islam and Allah despite being raised as a Christian, (You could say it's like living in hard mode difficulty, therefore you'd receive better achievements/rewards). The sacrifices you've made, in some ways are greater than us Muslims by birth. For example, your relationships with those around you, your Christian parents might disagree with your decision and threaten to disown you, leading you to live a life of exile in your own society which you've known since your whole life. But through all that, you'll gain a stronger connection with your creator, and if the people around you have seen that you've changed for the better, then they might open up to you again.

I do believe these people know theyre wrong. As a convert it was a hard pill to swallow knowing that everything that I knew and how I was raised was wrong. It wasn’t easy to accept, I felt lied to but it was so hard to let go..it was a process to come to terms with. But one thing is for sure, willful ignorance is the worst! I'm sure these Christians are more willing to accept the truth if the ones conveying the message are Muslims who are ex-Christians. Christians have a hard time accepting the truth partly because they feel the born-Muslims do not understand their faith. So if they listen to Muslim reverts who are ex-Christians, they can take the reverts' words more seriously because the reverts were once part of them, and the reverts themselves understand the Christians' feelings of how hard it is to digest the falsehood of Christianity.

Adam Sufian I have noticed how conversations shift when non Muslims find out I was once a Christian. So I agree with you. I had no converts to talk to during my research . So I think maybe because of that it was difficult for me to finally accept it because I was conversing with only born Muslims.

Naturally as human beings, we are more inclined towards people who have things in common with us and we value them more than others, and that includes what they say. For example, I'm American and I feel that South Africa is a dangerous country. If a South African told me it's fine, I still wouldn't be that convinced. However if another American who has been there said it's totally fine, naturally I would consider his words more than the South African simply because he's an American like me. Needless to say that guidance is only given by God, but on our part I think we can do a better job in reaching out to the non-Muslims. Especially in the States where people are predominantly Christians, my personal opinion is that perhaps having a revert at these Islamic booths can help with conveying Islam to the Christians because the Christians will be able to relate more to the reverts than to the born-Muslims based on my previous explanation. Reverts actually play such a big, big role because they are the bridge between the non-Muslims and Islam, much like how Superman is a bridge between the people of Earth and Kryptonians. So the reverts are like Superman!

When I read the Quran and seen that Allah SWT said don’t say trinity I was Appalled. I cried my eyes out because my eyes couldn’t believe what I was reading. Last year during Ramadan myself and another Muslim were invited to a Bible study group to answer questions about Islam. I had never met the other Muslim. He was from Egypt and I'm African-American. During the entire 90 minutes of questions there was not one question where we, two unfamiliar Muslims disagreed, gave contrary explanations, or even had to correct a misrepresentation of the other. During the entire time there was not time, instance, or question where we did not agree.

@@EmeraldDiamond3 well his parents were righteous and getting closer to old age so killing their child is to stop them from suffering in the long run even though they would be heartbroken for their child but god has promised to replace him with another child who will be righteous and help them at old age. Now someone can say how is your god merciful when he has done this to an innocent child? I reply back with my god who’s the most merciful took this child away before he hits puberty and before he grows up and becomes a disobedient son to them and does more harm then good and commits acts that only god knows of what he could of done and he would of been to hell and the parents would suffer in their old age and he won’t be able to join them in heaven, but what god did was take him at a young age because if one dies before puberty he goes to heaven with no judgment because your not held accountable till you hit puberty. And second the older couple could enjoy their last days on here knowing their new son is a man and is taking caring of them and he is righteous as well so all 4 of them are going to heaven instead just 2.

It's difficult, I know. I have love for the two christians because I was raised in a family with at least 6 uncles who are/were preachers and myself as well as all of my cousins, aunt's, uncles, parents and grandparents from generation to generation were and are Christians. Baptism, speaking supposedly in tongues, bible study on Wednesdays or Fridays, Sunday school.........the years and years of conditioning, manipulation via films on Jesus, or the other prophets.......I am not surprised that there are so many Christian sects and at least 45,000 christian denominations with EACH one professing to be the true Christianity. It is truly difficult to break free from the conditionings. inshaAllah their hearts and egos will soften and they will acknowledge at least that the Bible is in absolutely no way the word of God.

When I was a child my father used to say to my older siblings Be thankful that allah swt creates you healthy and into a Muslim household , be thankful because if your not thankful today , you will be tomorrow! While I was still a Christian I had come to the conclusion not everything in the Bible could possibly be from God (e.g. the multiple genocides in the old testament) and what convinced me of Islam is the contradictions in the New Testament showed me it's strength for being true is very weak and what convinced me of Islam is the logic and accuracy and preservation the Quran (Muslim for 8 years now alhamduillah ❤)
