This guy is a freakin genius. The forehand wrist lag video and this. Definitely changed my game to a new level. He explains the small tricky parts of the moves, that affects the WHOLE shot. Hope you have contents on one-handed backhand, too. Looking forward to watch them.

Thank you I have never heard anyone explain the relationship of the 2 palms in a tennis serve until now. Very subtle. It all makes perfect sense now that you demonstrated it! 👏👏

Fantastic instruction! I noticed that scapula alignment of the racket places a lot less pressure on the shoulder joint. The 'scratch your back' position puts strain on the shoulder- try a thumbs down with the racket aligned in front of the chest and do a thumbs down in line with the shoulder, you can feel the difference! Thank you again.

No more back scratching! When I tried this and got the racquet drop you can feel that this will definitely produce more power! Off to the courts! Great video!

What a great video. I love how you point out NOT to scratch the middle of the back. I have not been aware of this up until now. Looking forward to many more terrific lessons.

Really? You thought it meant to really use the racket to scratch your back or just get the racket back in a position 'similar' to where you could move to scratch your back?
@opalpearl3051
@opalpearl3051 4 ай бұрын
@@AdvancedTennisFoundation-ph9zo No, of course not. I meant "similar" to move to scratch your back. I am perplexed that you would even suggest that.

@@opalpearl3051 OK, so that is my point. All of us should see that the Back Scratch position is not literal no more than the Windshild Wiper is.... But these instructors come along and talk about how "you don't really scratch your back" as though these instructors thought they were supposed to quite literally scratch their back....

My God. I've looked up advanced tennis foundation. I think it means advanced years and advanced towards senility tennis foundation. All old guys with failed online attempts doing nothing but criticize. Get your pipe, get your slippers, and quietly wait for the end. Don't comment on people who actually help people. Have you got it. Grandpa

I hear this a lot that the palm of hitting arm is facing down - with strings face up to sky and down to ground....This simply does not work for everybody.....For instance, yhe American- Taylor Fritz -who has a big serve - does not do this. He has racquet on EDGE- -parallel to base line- with strings facing to the front and back of court. He does his toss- and has a racquet lag- then raises the racquet -parallel to baseline - as you suggest. - but the racquet is on edge as it goes behind him...This seems more of a natural motion. May I suggest that you look at serves of Fritz -several slow motion videos that are very demonstrative of what he does...I would love to hear you comments about this. Thanks

@@janveitch9309 Yes- thanks for sending video. I have seen this and other slow motion videos of Taylor's serve. This video confirms what I said about his serve. He has racquet on edge parallel to base line with strings facing to front and back of court. Also worth checking out is a slow motion of Medevev's tennis serve. He is similar to what Fritz does, but he has racquet more at a 45 degree angle rather than 90 degree angle like Fritz. Medevev has really a simple and straight forward serve that works very well. Going to practice his style of serve later today 😊🎾

You get your terminology muddled here 0:56 - your triceps aren't doing anything in this position. Regardless, the triceps are the largest and strongest muscles in the upper arm 1:59 - no, the triceps are extended in this position

WHEN PUT BALL in the throat and it goes behind you you supinated into the waiters tray. If the ball goes behind you from the ball stayng in the throat of the racket, the ball should go behind you.

Hi. Your right. If you take the racket back with the waiter tray position the ball goes backwards... But, tell me. Is there any take back that does not result in the ball going backwards? Where else can it go? It's great that your enjoying the site. www.oneminutetennis.com
