Sleeping Rabbit REM sleep

A free range rabbit/indoor rabbit sleeping and rabbit dreaming. When the rabbit sleeps, the rabbit dreams. Pipkin rabbit eats, runs, and jumps in his dream, and his sleeping body does the same. Even when you think the sleeping rabbit wakes up, he's still asleep, probably sleep running or sleep eating! Maybe he is dreaming of a rabbit eating ASMR video, or a rabbit eating banana video! When the rabbit eats, the pet rabbit makes lots of rabbit noises and rabbit sounds!
Do rabbits dream? Yes! When the indoor rabbit is sleeping he often dreams of eating something, or doing one of his rabbit eating ASMR videos. When the indoor rabbit eats in his dream, he sleeps soundly, and it takes more effort to get the rabbit to wake up. Here the rabbit is sleeping very actively! Maybe even REM sleep! The rabbit enjoys falling asleep on the couch watching TV, like most humans. Then the bunny likes to be carried up to bed, the lazy thing!
Whenever the rabbit wakes up, the rabbit stretches and performs a mighty rabbit yawn. Rabbit yawning is the cutest animal/cutest thing ever. The indoor bunny also stretches his legs and paws when he yawns, then often goes back to rabbit running in his sleep or rabbit eating in his sleep.
Maybe you saw our waking a sleeping rabbit with an air horn video, or waking a sleeping rabbit with a firecracker video. Or maybe you saw rabbit eating watermelon or rabbit eating carrot. This is the same tiny pet bunny rabbit!
Wondering how to pet a rabbit? Or how to hold a rabbit? Be very gently! Pipkin is a tiny pet bunny rabbit who loves waking up humans. So, every once in awhile, we wake him up. The rabbit has been woken with a rabbit air horn, a firecracker, and by telling the rabbit he is adopted.
The rabbit takes about 20 naps a day, and the rabbit wakes up at the quietest opening of the refrigerator door. Pipkin is always ready to make a rabbit eating ASMR video - so even when he is asleep, he is vigilant for sounds someone might feed him, as the rabbit loves eating fresh fruits and vegetables!
When the rabbit is sleeping and dreaming, you can hear the rabbit smacking his lips and licking his lips. Watching him and listening to the rabbit sleep can be very calming. The sounds the cute rabbit makes can be relaxing, too.
The rabbit sleeps out in the open usually. However, later at night, or for an afternoon nap, he likes to cuddle on the couch. Oftentimes he falls into the REM sleep, where he dreams and moves about. He is a free range rabbit, or free roam rabbit, and he has free range of the house. Maybe that's why the rabbit always likes to sleep out in the open, in the middle of the room or under the futon. Ha! Silly rabbit!
We labeled it "ASMR" in case some viewers would enjoy the eating sounds he makes for rabbit sleeping and rabbit eating - we certainly think his rabbit sounds and rabbit noises could be considered relaxing. What is ASMR? ASMR stands for autonomous sensory meridian response and is used to describe an experience characterized by a static-like or tingling sensation on the skin that typically begins on the scalp and moves down the back of the neck and upper spine. In short, it' that feeling of getting "the chills." Maybe his squishy and crunchy eating will trigger you to feel it, who knows? Or maybe he will just put you right to sleep. Or, maybe you just wonder what a bunny eating looks like :) Whatever the reason, thanks for stopping by!

This reminds me of our first rabbit and mommy together like this. When mommy would have Ryan out and petting him sometimes daddy would look over and Ryan would be resting and every once in a while mommy would be asleep. Would say dear you fell asleep. Oh Ryan you are making mommy sleepy.

I've had two and looking after them is way harder, than you think. Trust me, think this through because theres no need in getting a rabbit if it's life is gonna be sad and unhealthy. I've lost both of them because I had way too much going on like school, work, going out with friends and family e.t.c.

I wish my bunny would sleep on my chest like that. She gets so stressed anytime she is picked up or placed on my chest. I suspect it has to do with bad experiences before she was rescued.

@maccajoe I had a bunny growing up as a kid and while he was not thrilled with being picked up or placed on my chest he did not act terrified like my Dutch Doe bun. She is very sweet and affectionate but whenever she is picked up or placed on a lap or chest she acts terrified. Eventually she calms down a bit but still her breathing is way way faster and her demeanor says she is very scared. It is not me as I am around her all the time and she comes up to me all the time and loves to be loved... as long as she has her 4 paws on the ground. The only time I can even get her to hop into my lap is for papaya treats but that is only if I am sitting on the ground. She was rescued from a hording situation and I suspect bad things happened to her when she was picked up or that she was forcibly held when on a lap. But I know she is very happy in the home I provide as I see her flop and relax when I am around and she will binky and do zoomies whenever she is in the den. She is free roam in a carpeted 2500 sq foot furnished basement and her main area is in my room. But I keep the door cracked open at night and all the time so she can come and go as she pleases any time.

I have been very lucky to have a very affectionate rabbit. When I was learning for school he would just lay on my chest and enjoy being petted until he would fall asleep...

She is fine if her paws are all on the ground and enjoys being loved and gives me licks... but pick her up and put her on your lap and she acts like she is about to die breathing so rapidly and acting so scared. She must have had some bad experiences before I rescued her... I have tried picked her up and giving her lots of loving and she does eventually calm down but she still seems to hate being picked up and on a lap. I have tried feeding her different treats while on my lap but she will not eat when is being held or on a lap. She will try and dig into my lap/chest many times when being held and loved.
