How to Strum in 3/4 & 6/8 Time

So happy to find this! I find my biggest road block with playing the Ukulele is understanding strumming patters without a tutorial. I'd like to be able to look up chord charts online and know how to play without tutorials. Don't know why I can't seem to break down 3/4 4/4 timing and such to a strumming pattern.

Thanks kate, You are so right about the beat counting. That's where i always got ahead of myself and get in my own off beat strumming, the metronome practice is so helpful. Thanks for sharing this 16 days god bless everyone, stay safe

I completely agree. I'm naturally a "feeler" when it comes to music. I have to force myself to count or else I will get off track.

That is one pretty uke. About as pretty as you. Are you strumming with the side of your finger? I have no one to show me on Indian land anywhere. To me it looks your finger nail on down strokes and thumb nail on the way up when ur up to speed. Seems your using two techniques when going slow verse fast.
