What I love about you guys is that you never talk over each other, always showing respect and letting the other talk....pretty rare in some people. Also please never become scripted as it's much more natural and funny the way you are.

Loved this QandA. I'm so glad you don't plan out or script your videos. I think that's what makes them so relatable to the rest of us. The natural chemistry you have and your obvious and unashamed appreciation of your lifestyle is refreshing to see in an age of curated social media. So thanks and I look forward to the adventures of 2024.

I'm an Aussie who has not only travelled this entire country, but also visited Sedona, Arizona, & Utah and came away thinking you lived in the most beautiful part of the world. So it came as a pleasant surprise that you said you wanted to live in Australia. But that kind of attitude is what makes you both the perfect travellers. You make the most of every place you visit and don't slip into the trap of most tourists: making meaningless comparisons of every place with your home. You look for the positives all the time. If our government was smart, they'd give you the latest Unidan Unimog 535 Expedition Vehicle and support your travels for as long as you wish. The income you generate for this country in future tourist dollars would be well worth it. Good luck with your future travels. You are an absolute joy to follow.

I just discovered you guys a couple of months ago (and I've been following many other youtube couples for several years). And so far, I am REALLY liking your personalities, content, and style. I have watched several travel youtubers "evolve" over the last several years and here is what I suggest for you; 1) STAY CASUAL! The best thing you guys have going is your laid-back, casual approach (along with your great personalities). Do not give into the notion that a more "produced" look will impress more people. I have absolutely no desire to see a Tia & Cheveyo television show. If I wanted to watch a "show", I would watch television. Just be yourselves and stay fun, casual, modest and charming. 2) STAY LOW COST! Being human, you will want to make more income. But right now, my favorite thing about you is that you actually have to pause and think before you grab stuff off of a store shelf - exactly like 99% of the rest of us. Even if you do gradually start making bigger $$, stay the same. It's relatable. No one on earth needs another video about what it's like to fly Emirates first class. 3) Keep your electronics simple. Some of my favorite youtubers still mostly just use their smartphone. You don't need the best stuff. You just need adequate. Same for editing. Keep it simple. NO ONE watching your videos cares about stuff like color-grading. You don't need the fanciest drone. You don't need epic music. You probably don't need to spend 10+ hours editing a video. 4) Minimize "staging" shots. I get it. Seeing you walk away from the camera as if you had another person filming you can be a nice shot to sprinkle in occasionally. But as soon as it hits the watcher that this "naturalistic" shot was entirely staged, it kills the viewing experience. I recently saw a person going through something emotional on youtube and then realized that there was no way for me to see that without the shot being staged. It made me lose respect for the channel and I unsubscribed. 5) The "secret" to youtube success is the personalities of the people in front of the camera and you can't fake that. You guys have it. That's all you need. Keep it real.

I rarely comment but when I decided to encourage and compliment you someone has already expressed my thoughts exactly!😂 But I will add a comment about 'promotions'. I also follow a few couples travelling full time. An Australian man and his Canadian wife were popular with me. BUT.... they now do much shorter videos with the first 3 minutes taken by their sponsor message! 3 minutes! Way too long! I get the idea of sponsor deals but I pay for KZbin premium to try and avoid ads. I unfollowed that couple. I like your style. Very natural. You will continue as long as you want to because you don't use gimmicks. Love it! Keep going as you are. Plus... Tia's smile is irresistible 😂

here’s an idea for a future episode. go to a media program being produced. your comments would be interesting, ie does it in any ways resemble what you do? for me, being close to L.A., i just had to go see a popular tv game show filming. i thought about my. experience on many levels: the stage set seemed “fake”, the small size of the studio, having an MC to warm up the live audience on commercial breaks. i learned a lot.

Back this year?I.. Perfect... I was quite sick flicking through KZbin and found one of your videos... wound up binge-watching all your Australia videos. Your warm, down-to-earth, effortlessly authentic personalities truly lifted my spirits. Feels rare these days, don't ever change. Side note, If you can squeeze it in consider a trip down to Tassie, lived there for a few years and loved the natural beauty, a lot of interesting history you might not see elsewhere and plenty of strange things to be found off the beaten track. it's an hour flight, but if you want to take Blueberry version 2.0 you can take it on the Spirit of Tasmania (a ferry/cruise-ship hybrid you might call it) leaves from Port Melbourne twice a day, i'd probably recommend the overnight trip so you can sleep through most of the voyage across Bass strait. Either way, Best of luck with the 2nd attempt. Can't wait to see you back in Aus, in the meantime i'll catch up on all your other vids 👍👍

I'd strongly suggest looking at some merchandise though -- Tia could design some "Tia for scale" t-shirts and I reckon you'd sell a fair few of those. Or she could get some of her postcard designs onto t-shirts. BTW, Northern Europe is amazing. If you can find somewhere that does dogsledding, give it a go! Germany 10 free range eggs for USD 3.07. Apple Sauce USD 0.93. 1L Milk USD 1.15 = $5.15. Australia (Woolies) 12 free range eggs for USD 3.49 (so USD 2.91 for 10). Apple Sauce USD 1.21. 1L Milk USD 1.07 = $5.19. Matches my own experience as an Australian that a supermarket shopping trip in Germany was almost exactly the same price as home. You're right about alcohol, though!!

The cost of groceries in Aus does increase the further you are from cities or regional centres though. It's not just transport costs I suspect, but also added margin to make it worthwhile for folk to live and operate stores, roadhouses etc in, remote areas. In Europe, by contrast, there just aren't any remote locations except, perhaps, for northern Scandinavia.

Hi guys. Love your videos. Very inspiring. Minor quibble but just want to challenge you on the cost of groceries in Australia compared to Germany. The example you gave for eggs showed a German pack of 10 eggs for 2.79EUR (3.069USD) or 30.69 US cents per egg. Today in Australia a regular pack of 12 Woolworths brand extra large free range eggs is 5.60AUD (3.75USD) or 31.27 US cents per egg. Not too different really. Haven't done the other comparisons so could be just eggs :)

It's bizarre, but I can relate to going from living in SE Asia and then driving from Perth east to the Nullarbor. It is an incredible experience and the bight where Antartica broke off is one incredible place. But then driving into far north Queensland was like driving back into Se Asia. If complete your lap, do it in a 4wd and go back to Queensland and go across the top end but through Ahmend land etc.. The Kimberly and Pilbara would kill Blueberry, especially now in the wet. And you miss so much like Kings Canyon that you couldn't risk driving on corrugated tracks. Get Mazda to give a 4WD in Blueberry Blue 2 colour..

You always come across as a delightful and well matched couple and how you tell your story through your videos is so natural and at times quirky ☺ Nice to hear how you both became a couple, so thank you for that little insight. With all that you do with KZbin and how you go about it, I don't think you need to change anything and I believe if you did ever start "scripting" your dialogue, so much of yourselves would be lost. Do what you do best.... be you! As always, travel safe ❤

great and interesting vid, have you ever considered a canalboat trip on a english canal, i did it once and it was the most peaceful thing i have ever done, everyone on the canals are friendly and i found that this trip had me smiling for the first time after a while of bad luck, i did the avon ring which takes you partly along the avon river, with many cool places to visit , and learn some history,

if you open a coffee house in australia it would be a hit as people would support you no end because you have no limits with personality wise and we know how to make em , starbucks failed here .travel now is not like the sixties , when we struggled with our suitcase but it was so adventures in paces like morroco where the locals were curious about us as well . the natural world awaits you . suggest you get a motor bike and go overland to australia from europe , it would still a great adventure ,note,, sweeden was minus 43 on friday

Great Q&A. Looking forward to traveling northern Europe with you guys My vote is Tia is more clingy, but that's ok. Better that than the alternative. ❤❤

When you come back to Australia set aside at least 3 weeks for Tasmania; best season 🤔 avoid Winter, it’s an outdoors exploring place
