As a doctor it's correct that one should drink water in several small gulps, rather than one quick Slurp . Drinking quickly or drinking in large Gulps, whether you were stranded in the desert or not, has a chance of alerting ( stimulating) the 10th cranial nerve that branches through the stomach and Intestines. This never also branches in the Heart. Thus when you are tired or thirsty, dropping a large load of water in your stomach ( which is always of body temperature ) might stimulate the nerve causing the Heart to stop beating. There have been recorded cases in medical literature that speak of people having a cardiac arrest after drinking a large sum of water quickly without intervals. One must inform himself of the correct way of doing things first, before speaking out loud and embarrassing himself.

I had seen this video, fortunately I am one of those who follow these practices. My father taught me. Please brother, never get demotivated due to comments of Duniya while following Deen. My master used to say, "Duniya Mukhtsar, Deen forever!"
