I am going through this right now. Birthday parties, huge extravagant Eid parties, mixed gatherings, music, laughter, homosexual relationship.... I'm a mother trying to bring up my two children. I teach them, talk to them, love them to bits...trying to keep these family influences that are un Islamic, away. Its isolated me. I'm misunderstood. If I don't participate, I'm seen as boring or moody. I only know one sanctuary and that's my home. These people are deaf. Dumb. I am the eldest. Mocked and labelled as being unsocialble. I keep my children close by. Teaching them right from wrong. My daughter asks me, 'if its wrong and Allah doesn't like it then why are they doing this?' I just say 'we are on different steps of a ladder that takes us to Allah swt. They may have some really great qualities and we may not. But we can pray for them, us, everybody because only Allah swt will open that door.' It's so damn hard being alone whilst your own flesh and blood throw their behaviour on the family WhatsApp group. I have to be on it because we all have an ailing mother and through this group we inform eachother of her condition. But amongst the hospital reminders and updates with her health, there's the unsavoury behaviour that is thrown in your face. My children do not have phones. They are not privy to all that goes on but they know certain things. I can't begin to tell you, as I sit here, how isolating it is. Love is conditional here. Walk with them, you're in. Walk away, you are an extremist. I do what I can. Cried many a times. Just praying to get my loved ones to Jannah. My family will always be in my prayers. Always. I ask Allah swt to guide them... guide us ALL...😢😢😢

SubhanAllah, this was a remarkable talk and message! Allahuma barik lahu This makes me think about the championing of some 'civil' rights over others in our times. Reality is we live in governance systems of discrimination and oppression. Championing of 'feelings' makes people think that advocating/standing for the rights of one group of people is a victory for everyone. It is so deceptive because majority of people still face racism and discrimination, because those managing these governance systems do not follow a path of mercy (Quran and Sunnah). This makes the lesson from Prophet Ibrahim AS story even more beneficial to hear right now subhanAllah. He was courageous, intelligent, and was able to expose the corruption/injustice that occurred. The corrupt leaders sought to kill him but he didn't fear them, he placed his trust in Allah swt - the One to whom belongs all Power, Might and his life. SubhanAllah. people plot and plan but Allah swt's plan is always greater! May Allah swt grant you all a long life of righteousness and make you a means of hidayah, ameen.

💛🕋Please try to do these deeds 🙏 Start with 1 good deed and then increase it 💛 🌻1. Salah/namaz 5 times a day, or at least start with 1 time a day, then increase it slowly, 🌻2. Reading Quran, understanding and following it, 🌻3. Daily Dhikr (for example: Allah Akbar, Subhanallah), 🌻4. Send salawat (salawat means greeting) to the Prophet Mohammad (saw) => Allahumma salli ala Muhammad wa ala aali Muhammad, 🌻5. Be honest and just to everyone (both Muslim and NON-MUSLIM), 🌻6. Don't talk behind other people negatively (backbiting), 🌻7. Don't gossip, 🌻8. Don't spread false rumours, 🌻9. Don't slander, 🌻10. Feed the poor if you can, 🌻11. Feed street animals or pigeans in the park or collect rubbish from the parks or beaches and bin them, (Part 2 is in the below comment 👇)

Ma sha Allah. This is off topic, but needs to be addressed. I see many brothers trimming and grooming their beards based on ignorance. Yes there is some difference of opinion on this matter but the way and to the extent beards are shaped these days even goes against the most lenient of positions. And regardless of positions witin fiqh, the way of the salaf is the way and they certainly did not touch their beards. I, in all honesty, can't even be bothered to listen to anyone who does this even though he may be a million times better person than me but it just puts me off.

I’ve got an example for you my good friend. When a youngster wants to go on, for example, a sleepover with their friends, they ask permission from their parents (their mom in this case). When they ask their mother, do they need to ask anyone else? That mother, in this example, is the ultimate power, and she decides wether you can go to the sleepover or not. In our worldly life, there NEEDS to be one god, and Allah brought us Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad (peace be upon all of them) to preach his existence through Torah, Bible, and Quran.
