Got my 3T the other day and battery life has been phenomenal. In my first full run-down of the battery, I got 6 hours and 45 minutes of screen on time over about 19 hours.

I had about an hour and a half of KZbin. Then web browsing, twitter, messaging. At medium brightness with no power savibg features. I easily get 3 hours SOT with 50% battery left.

Hey +Kenny Woodard i just got my 3T a week ago and the SoT is around 5 hours and 15 mins in average mine runs on Nougat Do you still get the same result after the Nougat update ??

The OP3 T was faster. At the 45mins mark, the Op3 charged 86% which is 2580mah (86% of 3000) and the 3T charge 78% which is 2652mah (78% of 3400)

ICE Starboy OP3T took 95 minutes to charge 3400 mAh, so 35.8 mAh per minute on average. OP3 took 80 minutes to charge 3000 mAh, which is 37.5 mAh per minute. Original charged almost 5℅ faster on average.

Agustinøx Jrø oh. I'm switching from the S7 Edge and I'm still super excited. I get a better phone for half the price. I feel stupid for ever buying this. I love Samsung, but their camera and screen isn't able to hold me down when something like the oneplus 3t exists.

Agustinøx Jrø you will see a MASSIVE jump in performance when you get your oneplus 3t. I have had the s4, s5, s6, and s7 edge, and I have wanted to test a oneplus phone ever since they started making phones, but I wasn't ready to give up Samsung. Because the Galaxy S7 Edge that I got has had so many issues, I decided to look at oneplus again. I saw the specs, got excited, read and watched half a million reviews, then threw my money at it. I am so hyped!!!

I have the OP3 and the Dash Charging brings a whole new dimension to battery life. I get 4-5 and a half hours of screen on time consistently. So am sure you should get more with the OP3T

Great comparison test Jerome :) but the figures were kinda predictable heh, given the difference in battery size. Still love my 1+3 though! especially with nougat.

Uh... something is probably wrong with the OnePlus 3T, I have one myself and me and my family were playing some board games and wanted me to play some music. As my phone was at 20% I decided to put it to charge while playing music. After 30 mins of charging, playing music at full volume, full luminosity on the screen, the phone got to 92%... in one hour in the video, phone being idle [screen off] gets up to 90%.

These last % are charging slower because charging process after ~80% changes from CC(constant current, at about 3500mA) to CV(constant voltage, to 4,35V for Li-HV) where current slowly drops from these 3500mA to about 350mA, so after 95% it is charging at only about 500-350mA. You can check charging current at factory test menu available at *#808# > "Charger()"

After 1 hour 90% on OP3T is about 3060 mah filled, which is more than 95% of OP3's 3000 mah.

i used oppo r7 before i buy ip3t..both hv fast charging technology, but after i used both, its seems oppo charged faster..i dont know if others feel the same..but ip3t batery is really good..i open utube for 2hours non stop, and my ip3t battery only reduce 20%..

Jerome my LG G5 hits 100 but then you have to wait for the LED light to turn OFF to be sure it's totally at 100 percent. I unplug it after the light goes off. Otherwise you are just reaching 100 and then unplugging and are probably more like 99.9 percent.

First 30 mints got to 55% and. The last 30 mints just to charge 10%. Can someone explain? Does it slow down at the end to not overcharge the battery?

Yes, the battery is charged very slowly when it's close to it's peak capacity, to prevent over-charging, and prolong the life-span. But despite this being slower, Li-ion batteries will give you the most cycles, if you don't discharge the battery too much. The less discharge below 100% before charging, the better. (A cycle is a full 0 to 100% recharge, but not necessarily in one go, it can be discharged to 90% and charged to 100% 10 times, and that will be a full cycle) But don't worry about it too much, just use your phone normally, and charge it, if possible, necessary. StayTrippy Mayne That's in case you don't use it aka. Shelf life. Otherwise it's best to have it topped off. But mind that heat is one of the biggest threats for batteries, so it's better not to charge, if usage is so high that there is excessive heat.

That would test purely the battery better, yes, but it's important to know how much power is spent by the phone itself as well, while charging. Most people will charge their phone's whilst they're ON anyway.

you see , OnePlus is fairly new-ish . heck , even their first two phones are hard to buy . so it's not surprising if they only have showrooms available at some part of the world . but nevertheless , i used oppo find 7 before . battery wise , meh , it's kinda okay . software and hardware i'll say , abysmal .
